simplicity 5216

hi everyone I'm new to the forum. a friend of mine just gave me a old simplicity 5216 hydrostatic. it has been sitting in a barn for a long time his dad told him the only thing wrong with it was the alternator on it was bad. I haven't had a chance to look at it yet been working 90hrs a week...

Hi. Anyone have any experience with the above machine? This is an old beater, 16HP B&S 2 cyl, 5 speed. I don't know the year, so if anyone knows the years this model was made that would be helpful. That or point me in the right direction to find out. I want to use this to tow my wood...
