Hi, I was out brush hogging today and notice my ford 1710 was building pressure in my gear case and was bubbling out at the seams. So I unscrewed the filler plug and it had a lot of pressure. What would be causing this?
I was pushing under a log and lifting when the tractor stalled before I could release pressure. Immediately tried to restart it, but it won’t turn over at all. I have power, radio and gauges work. I’m thinking hydrostatic pressure must be relieved for engine to turn over. Any suggestions?
