massey ferguson 1428

New to the forum. Bought a new 1428 with FEL. Rear lift lever has NO TENSION. I own an OLD TO35 and the lever works like up, is up and down is down. This model seems to only go up and stay up if I shut the valve off or hold the lever. Sorry for the rambling. I feel like I am missing...

My tractor dies when I engage the pto or put it in drive. I have replaced the seat switch. the drive control switch and the pto relay. Does anyone have an idea where to look next? The tractor starts and runs find, just can't do anything but burn fuel. It's a Massey Ferguson 1428 V Hydro...
