Tractors and wood! Show your pics

We don’t have a hunting season for bears. They breed 1-3 Cubs each year and have no fear of people. They will just walk right toward you. When we are working in the yard we have to keep the garage doors closed because we never know when a bear will wander in. The worst part is they have...

Here is my little tractor and trailer out by the wood pile. I stack and season on pallets. The near 1/2 is for next year and the far side of the row is for this year. I was considering building a firewood shed that would hold about 11 cord. Or two sheds similar in design to this. Or...

I recently made some changes to my Timberwolf TW1 log splitter. At the time I could not afford their higher end model and started to regret not getting the one where I could add the hydraulic log lift. So I bought a kit from Rugged Made and it works well. It is made for a splitter with a...

It is that time of year to start moving the firewood closer to the house. We season the wood a few hundred feet away in the sunny corner of the backyard. Thought about using a method with pallet totes to reduce handling but my little JD 750 wouldn’t lift them. Besides, I like tearing apart the...

Here is a photo I took while in Brindisi, Italy back in 2017. I was there for a business trip and stayed at a hotel along the boardwalk.

Here is my winter wood for this coming winter and some to help me get ahead for the following winter. We go through about 5 cord each season. Some years I gather all my own and other years I buy some to fill in. The split piles are bought. 5 cord of oak, green, 200 per cord delivered. The...

For you fellows with no cup holder

I use one of these that I got from Cabelas. With the Velcro strap I can mount it on my ROPS. Only downside is soda gets pretty shook up.

My brother in-law has wanted a dog for several years. The local shelter denied them several times for adoption because they both work. His job recently made him a "work from home" employee. He was able to adopt a dog. He named him George.

I was splitting and stacking wood today. My friend's kid comes over occasionally to help me out around the yard. I like to stack on pallets to keep the wood off the ground. Each row is about 2/3 of a cord. I get two rows per row of pallets. 7 rows down many more to go.

I thought this might be a fun thread for everyone to share pictures of of those furry little animals that bring joy to our lives. In many cases they also help us around the property either as companions, protection, rodent control, etc. My wife has always been a cat person. I like cats and...

I like to save even the smaller branches but it can be a real PIA to cut them up. Using some ideas from this site I made a saw buck of sorts out of some scrap 4x4s and 2x4s. I also added some wheels so that I can move it around the property. There is a small tongue on the front for a pin...

    Blizzard 2015 Boston

My Brother in-law lives in Belmont, a town in the greater Boston area. Very small yard with limited room for snow. He has been fighting a losing battle with the city plow. It is difficult to keep the sidewalks clean with a 2 foot wide tree belt and a plow driver coming by every day to widen...

    TODAYS SEAT TIME

My little JD 750 is getting a workout this winter. I have 700+ feet of driveway that gets plowed by a local guy I know. I still spend a couple hours after each storm pushing the piles back and scrapping down to blacktop in the parking area. Also need to clean up along the sides of the main...

Loader  Quick Attach for 67 Series Loader

Has anyone had any luck getting a quick attach mount that fit the 67 series loader arms? I have a JD 750 with the 67 series loader. I want to convert the pin on style bucket to QA so that I can make use accessories such as pallet forks and a snow blade easily. As I understand it the...
