BX Grass catcher - new vs old version

I have the original version and use it all season; don't take it off much since its such a pain. My technique is to use a Harbor Freight transmission jack to hoist it into position combined with casters on wooden inserts which slide into the open ends of the metal feet. That allows it all to...

    BX 25 front tire tubes

I had the same problem with my BX2200. Gave the leaky front tires to a garage nearby thinking it was an a day or two to get them tubed. It took the shop a week to find the right size and get them. I can't remember the source, but it took a lot of effort on the shop's part. Haven't had a...

    Grass Catcher for BX2200

I'm on my third season with the OEM grass catcher and am generally pretty satisfied with it. It holds a lot and the bags are easy to lift off and dump. It is really a blessing on leaves as well. As others have commented, its hard to put on and take off, but gets easier with each season. I...

    Anti-Scalp Wheel

I've used mine all season with a few shots of grease. Seem to be doing well and definitely reduced gouging due to wheel dragging.

    Grading  BX2200 mower blade selection

I have a BX with the 54" MMM and Kubota bagger and adore the whole system. Its time to think about new mower blades and I'm confused about high lift ones. What is the right choice for use with the bagger? I've heard conflicting advice so I'd really like to know what people think before I buy...

    Bx 2230 bagger for leaves?

I'm going into my second leaf season with my BX2200 bagger. It works very well as described, but taking it off is no casual matter. I bought an inexpensive transmission jack from Harbor Freight, and that helps greatly in the installation/removal process. I agree its an expensive unit, but I...
