I agree galvanizing is better. I used to work for an OEM in water/wastewater and the steel equipment was always galvanized. It held up well.
So I suppose for the price of the masss produced ones, it is too much to ask for inner tube protection :(
thanks again for advice.
B&B's website leaves much to be desired as far is details go. They don't list construction details.
As far as a spray in liner, like Rhino, you can opt for the smooth finish without grit. Would the dirt really stick? so much that it prevents flow?
I have seen some...
In regard to rust prevention, some manufacturers offer undercoating.
I imagine Zeibart could do that including treat the inside of the frame tubing.
Has anyone had any of these extra services done?
What about a spray in liner for a trailer that won't be "over" used with things like large...
Wow
I was away from the forum for a day and there were so many posts.
Seems like a popular topic.
Well unfortunately the mass produces ones all seem to be tube main frames.
I suspect they don't all have engineers designing from year to year and are probably somewhat over engineered.
The...
Great comments.
although most mass produced ones are tube. Well at least ones sold here in southeastern PA.
I am looking at Griffin(dump max), cam superline, and sure-trac. All have tubular frames and cross members and are similarly priced for 7x12 10,000#. All are around $5500.
I spoke to...
I have a super crew F150 with a 5.5' bed hoe is 6.5'
I planned on towing the tractor with a 12' dump trailer with the hoe in my truck. I have to be careful about the toung weight since the how is likely behind the rear axle of the truck affeting towing.
I won't haul much, but don't want a 14'...
thanks for the comments
I went to all four southwest PA dealers and the prices were:
21500
21300
20988
20700
All include FEL and BH65 with a 16" bucket
The last one is a second lowered price after I indicated I have other offers. Also the last one is the largest local dealer and is withing...
Hi
I did a search but couldnt find any information here on on Kubota's website on the weight of the BH65 attachment.
Does anyone have any idea the weight?
I am trying to figure out if I could haul it in the back of a 1/2 ton pickup truck.
thanks
Hi
just wondering if a price of 20,300 before tax is competative for a new b2320 FEL and BH65.
I went to 3 dealers and prices started at 21,400, 20,998, and 20,700.
thanks
John
I am trying to have my cake and eat it too.
I don't want a long trailer for storage reasons and lost towing capacity.
I really only want a 12' trailer.
how does one figure out the load distribution? I assume when hauling a tractor loader, there is not much room to adjust distribution.
I...
Pat
thanks for the information.
I know an F150 is rated that high for towing, but really would be difficult to control anywhere near that weight.
I also figured the volume of the trailer is greater than the rated load for some material. I imaging dirt or gravel filled trailer would overload...
Hi
I am just about to buy a kubota B2320 TLB. I want to get a dump trailer to haul the tractor and to use as a dump.
I read the thread and it all makes sense and it is great to hear from people that have been through experiments.
I measured the TLB and minimum of 14' seems right, but that...
