    4310 Stalling out

My 4310 now has 225 hours. I have had a few minor issues with the tractor over the years which I have been able to resolve myself. Yesterday, as I was bush hoggin my engine began to miss a bit and then slowly shut off. I could restart it immediately at a lower throttle and move the throttle...

Oil & Fuel  Fuel Tank thread stripped on my 4310

I have had my 4310 for 6 years now and she's been a good girl. After about a year, I noticed that when I put the fuel tank cap on, it would pop back up and I would have to twist back on just far enough to get it tight. I could sense it was not on all the way. Sure enough I have been having a...

Seat Belt ...and a Fat Man

Am I the only big butt that owns a 4310? I will admit that with 37 hours on my eHydro, and reading the safety forum religiously, I finally decided to raise the ROPS and begin using the seat belt. Butt, then I discover that the belt is 4 inches too short. Does JD make an extension or should I...

    Fuel Cap on JD 4310

My 4310 is relatively new (25 hours). I have a question regarding the fuel cap. After I fill the tank up, and try and replace the cap, I only get two or three turns on the fuel cap and it let's loose and pops up. Do the fuel caps tighten all the way down and fit snuggly, or do they ratchet...
