    Kubota L-210 Steering Box

My little Kubota L-210 which has worked so well the last 6 years that I've owned it, for mowing a 2 acre field at my Grandparents place with a 4' finish mower, broke it's steering gear. Have not delved too deeply into it, but steering wheel still moves lock to lock, just no turning front wheels...

Gas engine Satoh Bison with loader, hasn't run for about 4 years, but been in the barn, suspect overheated engine caused demise? Decent tin, Owner is talking about turning it into yard art. I am willing to offer $500 to keep it going as a tractor. Have some friends that could a use a small...

    Maybe ex rental ?

Friend of mine is looking at a B1750 W FEL HYDRO, MFWD, 2 spd PTO, in pretty good overall shape. Did a quick tractor Blue book estimate at the local tractor dealer, and it looks like the price is about right. My problem with the unit is that the tires are worn clean down to nothing, and showing...

Montana 5740 C to the rescue

It doesn't snow around here much, so the stepson has never really driven in icy conditions. What the pictures don't show are the Jeep Wrangler behind the tractor with the 9000# winch. Neither one of us could quite pull the pickup up far enough to get the rear tires on the ground, and the front...

Boom flailing with new Montana 5740 C

Sorry folks, I forgot to take a picture of the boom flail from the back, was more worried about whether or not I'd be able to keep track of the cutting head from the cab. Needn't have worried, almost perfect visilibity down to the extreme lowest reach, with no neck straining. Great job by the...

    5740 C WITH SERVIS/RHINO BOOM FLAIL

This tractor is going to work very well with the boom flail setup that I have now. Still a little light on the drive tire on the uphill side, but moving into 4x4 fixed it fine. Actually dropped the right front tire into a Nutria hole on the slough bank I was practicing on, dropped the bucket to...

    New 5740 C Montana owner. ( I guess )

Looks like the dealer and I came up with numbers I can afford, and the credit company didn't find any reason not to loan the money, so I guess I'll be a Montana owner next week.Trading in a JD 4600 which I have no complaints of, that tractor has served me very well. Wish I could have kept it and...

Flail Mower  H-40 Befco offset flail needs help

I've run flails before, but this one is driving me nuts. On anything but the most level ground, it either scalps, or skips. Have tried every position on the top link of the tractor,( 3 positions), and both positions of the mower top link( 2 positions) This mower doesn't have skids, but I just...

    I-H Scout

There is a 1964 Scout for sale in my area for $1400. Pretty rusty but fixable. I'm pretty sure 64 was the first year they were produced. The local Cornbinder dealer had bought himself, or had been given by International. a Scout with a half cab,P.T.O., and 3 point arms. He had a 6' sickle bar...

HAVE I OFFENDED EVERYONE IN KUBOTA LAND?

I don't own a kubota yet, but I might if I can find some info on an L 210. Probably about a 30 year old tractor. Any help would be appreciated. If it's a good deal I don't want to miss out. $2500 and very straight, but haven't heard it run yet.

    Kubota L 210

Reponded to an ad in the local paper today for a L 210 Kubota Went across the river to look at said tractor and liked what I saw. Now I'd like a few Kubota owners to chime in also, as this is not my primary tractor, would purchase it as a secondary power unit for chipping unit, P.T.O.540, Have...

    Thanx Soundguy,Slowrev,Hambone, and Art

Took some advice from from you guys, and went to the horses mouth,as it were. I gotta tell ya, from the time I ordered this unit(servis/rhino 1348 boom flail), till delivery, was in excess of 9 months. Repeated calls to the parent Co. by myself and dealer met with nothing but stalls, the units...

    Correct Oil ?

Have a British built Servis/Rhino 1348 boom flail, and it's way overdue for an oil and filter change. A tag on the unit says to use 15-40 wt., and the book mentions 30 wt., both of which sound kinda strange for a hydraulic unit Paid over $10,000 for this gizmo and really do want to feed it the...

    Another question for TBN

Any ideas on FEL attachments to replace My 4in1 that would work better to get down a few inches into the soil for grubbing out blackberries, etc.Versa Corp. is located a few miles from me,and I checked out a Versa loader bucket. About $3500 for a 1/2 C.Y. I'd like to find something a little cheaper.
