I like to buy a tractor that has not sat around too long. Kubota vin numbers will tell you the year and month it was built.

The lack of of a live PTO ,on some the lower hp models, keeps people away from the gear drive models.

Kubota does make you have insurance but it does not have to be the Kubota insurance plan. Your dealer should have gave you the option of getting your own insurance.

The L2502 uses a different design oiling system, no way that crosses over. I get that part numbers supersede but the L2501 numbers are replaced by different parts in the L2502. Why or what is different I do not know.

Well messicks is wrong, almost none of the internal parts crossover from the L2501 to the L2502, why? I don't know.

Looking at the parts diagram at messicks, they list two different pumps with over a $300 dollar price difference. It does not show that the L2501 pump was replaced by the newer number. There are now 3 versions of the L2502 engine as well.

I think the reach would be a issue for me, the KL4030C has 16'' less reach than the KL4030.

I have been looking at a CK2620, I like the tractor but not sure about the KL4030C loader. I like the KL4030 loader better, But ordering from Kioti is like a box of chocolate, you never know what you are going to get.

The 1M25 is the replacement for the 1526 and it comes in a open station ,just like the 1526. The 1E25 is the replacement for the 1825e.

Tractors are here, going to look at one tomorrow.

The dealer called yesterday afternoon and said the tractors will ship next week, I will believe it when I see them. Makes me rethink Kioti as a brand.

The ad for the 755 says it has a unknown hydraulic leak, I would want to know where the leak is first.

Are you going to be happy with that small of a tractor? You have been looking at much larger tractors. The lift on that is only about 700lbs.

If a dealer has stock it has been there awhile ,they have not shipped anything for the past month

Kubota was shut down the first three weeks of the year and now it looks like Kioti was doing some updates too.

Thanks, I am more concerned about build quality than the weight differences, The "c" model seems to have thicker mounts but I do not know if one is better than the other? Looks like some reach differences too

Yes every make has a lemon once in awhile, but it is how they handle the problem, for me Yanmar handled it bad. As I said I have owned Yanmar powered John deere"s for years and would buy a deere with a yanmar engine.

I had owned yanmar built john deeres for years, so I thought the yanmar would be good. If yanmar would of handled it better I would still be buying their products. I just do not think they really was to sell tractors in usa.

Well, the short story is bought tractor new and burned oil and always had a noise in lower end, selling dealer had no diesel tech and just kept lying about it. Got yanmar rep involved and after about a month of trying "things" they tore it down and found a wrist pin had walked out and scoured...

My Yanmar needed a engine before 50 hours, so for me it was not a quality product.

Have you checked out the dealers in person? Around my area ,Yanmar gave dealerships to places that could not work on them, We had 5 local dealers at one time and all are gone now.

My Yanmar was a nightmare, Yanmar was not good to work with on warranty issues.

Look for a decal on the valve cover it should have all the engine info on it, It will say the date on it.

The L2502 gear drive does not have a live pto, I just looked at one and like all the other improvements they made but the pto was deal breaker for me.

Comparing the parts list and diagrams very few parts cross over, the oil pump is now made into the front gearcase, the crank,rods and pistons are different part numbers,the head is a different part number. Cam and lifters are new part numbers, I not sure why but a lot has changed.

Almost everything in engine is different and I do not see those parts used on any other Kubota, so wondering if they will use it somewhere else.

Has anyone looked into the new engine in the L2502? Looks like it shares very few parts with the L2501

If you are in a state that collects sales tax, you have to factor that in, in my state you pay tax on the difference between trade in and selling price. In my case that's 8% more. something to think about.

The R14 tires on my Kubota L series use the same rims as the r4 tires, the r1 tires use a completly different size wheels.

I owned a LX2610 for a short time , it was not a cab model so can not help you on that, but for me it was a let down. I think you will be happy with the L2501, I own one and its been a great tractor for me but I am trading it in for a LX2610. I want a mmm and something lighter to mow with.

Looking at a cx2510 wondering if they use a ecu on these? The parts diagram does not list a cx2510 but the ck2510 has a ecu and what looks like a pressure sensor. Anyone know if its on the cx2510 engine? Thanks

I have a question about using a loader valve to control single acting cylinders to angle plow. I thought that using a single acting cylinder on a valve set up for double acting was bad because it forced oil though relief valve? But it looks like it is done. Could someone please explain it. Thanks
