    Rear Brakes 2006 Chevy Silverado

This thread got me interested in the current condition of my brakes so I had them checked today. The tech told me they "look like they're good for another 140,000 miles". Incredible!

    Rear Brakes 2006 Chevy Silverado

I have an '03 Chevy 2500 HD with a Duramax diesel that has 142,000 miles on it and still has the original brakes. I live in the country and most of my driving is 30 to 100 miles on empty two-lane paved roads. I often make these trips without touching my brakes except as I leave my driveway...

How should a LA402 bucket operate?

Well, I checked the hydraulic fluid level and I checked to make sure that all of the hoses were hooked up correctly. Everything looks good. So, I tried it again and....... it works fine!? Maybe the problem was what Easygo suggested - that the 3ph lever was not in the center/neutral position...

How should a LA402 bucket operate?

I just sold my B7610 and bought a used B7800. Maybe I didn't do my "due diligence" but the LA402 bucket on the B7800 operates differently than my old LA352 bucket. Comparison  B7800 or L2800/3400?

I recently sold my B7610 Kubota. I loved it but I always felt that it was just a bit small for my needs. So now I'm looking to upgrade to a used B7800 or L2800/L3400. I did a spreadsheet comparison of the specs and the B7800 seems to meet my needs the best - except that it has that doggone...

    Backhoe  Mounting a B4672 backhoe

I just scored a used B4672 backhoe which I mounted on my B7610 today. Things went pretty well but I've got a couple of questions/problems. First, there is a pipe weldment on the rear of the bottom of the backhoe frame (towards the tractor) that, at the moment, doesn't appear to be doing...

    B7610 power loss

I have a B7610 that's just short of three years old and has about 225 hours on it. Over the past few months I've "sensed" that the tractor does not have as much power as it used to have. For instance, to come up my rather steep driveway with a bucket full of material used to require that I set...
