Hey JC -i did replace that original fuel bowl with a aftermarket wix type ( car fuel filter) it works fine-but did have to bleed the air out only twice to get the tractor running-thank you for your knowledge 👍

It’s a o ring type-i removed it and cleaned up the cover-then put atv blue in place of the o ring gasket-it’s on the tractor I’m giving it 24 hrs to dry before starting-I’ll keep you posted-thank you again for your advice 👍

Hey JC I’ve got the valve cover gasket out and cleaned up-do i leave the old O ring gasket in place and silicone over it or remove it then silicone the cover-thank you again

Could I just by pass the original filter housing with a in line filter from the auto parts store-I’ve seen some pics of folks that have done that

I’ve never regreted buying a sub compact tractor instead of a lawnmower-over the past 20 years I’ve accumulated 4 tractors and they take care of 3-4 acres easily-i bought 3 for under 3600.00 and another one with a bucket for 6500.00 -Good luck with your decision

Looking for a fuel filter housing for a Ford 1300 -the nut that holds the filter on is cross threaded
