    Tires Dk5310se, new R14 Tire blow-out

Do like the monster truck guys do and stack in a row of tire plugs the length of the cut. They do that all the time due to the cuts they get crushing cars when they do shows. Not uncommon to see dozens of plugs in cuts like that. Those trucks weigh in at 10,000 lbs

    Flail mower help

Years ago I bought a couple of used 6` flail cutters for a couple of hundred each. Ordered new knives and misc parts online, along with a minimal amount of paint and have a couple of decent cutters for under $600 each. I've had them so long now that they are both ready to be freshened up again...

    Pick Up Bed Liners

The reason I always go with drop in liners is because they are cheap and you don't dent the bed dropping heavy things in. I deal with guys that have sprayed liners all the time and I don't like how they can be skinned and gouged sliding equipment in the beds. I know the sprayed liners cost a ton...

Sealed or serviceable bearing: your choice?

Any time you can add grease as a option it's a good option to have. We've all had non grease bearings make noise that quiet down with a little wd40.

    Cleaning lawn of branches

I looked at the blower buggies and liked them so I did my own out of aluminum. One of the more handy things I welded up! Don't use it a ton but when I pull it out I sure am glad I have it.

    Trailer build

I did one of those like that years ago. Just ad a second. 4" frame rail next to the other one. Double up on the area between the front corner on that side and the front spring perch

Hypertherm 30 vs Hobart 40i for first plasma cutter.

I got the Hypertherm 45 years ago. You'll never regret buying good equipment. Hypertherm seems to be the benchmark. The 45 has worked on everything up to and including 3/4" for me. Really the most comfortable on 1/2" and under. The sting of the cost goes away. Poor equipment choice stays forever.

    Cheap Wedling Helmet or Scam?

What do you figure your eye sight is worth? This is kind of like buying a cheap motorcycle helmet is it not? Maybe worse. Every time you draw an ark you are putting your eyes in the trust of that welding headgear. Choose wisely! Not particularly cheaply......

    Best Way to Weld Aluminum

I do a ton of aluminum welding. I used to use a spool gun for years with success on a old Millermatic 200 I bought new over 40 years ago with straight argon gas. Over a years ago I sold it after purchasing a new Millermatic 255 pulse welder and use their Alumapro push pull gun. It does a very...

Millermatic 211 vs. Hobart Handler 210MVP

Can't go wrong with a Miller. I had a old Millermatic 200 Mig I bought over forty years ago for $1375. I recently purchased a new MillerMatic 255 strictly for aluminum mig welding. I liked it so much I sold my old 200 mig to make room for a second MillerMatic 200 for metal work only. I sold my...
