    Repairing Drilled Engine Block

Block is scrap. Most like Kubota, until Kubota does them dirty...then it's all $$$$. Once you ruin a Kubota block or head, it's scrap...not worth the cost to begin repair. Once they fail, they aren't worth the time or expense to patch.

    Tractors and (upcoming) tariffs?

For decades..."assembled in the USA" has applied to Kubota. CAT, GM, Ford, Chrsyler (Dodge/Ram/Fiat/Stellantis...whatever their name is this week), Cummins, etc. are assemblers of non-USA manufactured parts. Toyota Camry has highest percentage of USA manufactured parts. All or nearly all of...

Water in fuel causes $10,000 damage to my Kubota Grand L6060

High temperature and humidity will cause condensation and the resulting seizing of fuel racks and injectors. Kubota engines are stout. All they ask for is the proper fuel, clean air filter, and proper oil change intervals. Their tractors lack proper filtration...they must have a aftermarket...

JD 445 gas Kawasaki engine fouls the plug on the left cylinder

Replying to an old subject....Unfortunately the fouling problem is an engineering issue. There is no cure for it. In a nutshell...it is a 2 cylinder engine with fuel injection...one injector. The engine is obsolete...so Kawasaki isn't going to do any "fixes" for it. Some folks use a hotter...
