Could there be "junk" in the fuel tank where it enters into the fuel line. We had a tractor that would crank and even run for a bit then just stop. Ended up taking the fuel tank off, draining it and cleaning it all out and problem went away.

Do any of you find that the PTO engagement lever is too "short" and you have to reach down to grasp it? I'd like to see it be about 6-8 inches taller and easier to reach.

I looked at one last week and one concern I have is the PTO engagement lever seems like it sits too low and you have to "reach down" to grab hold of it. Seems like it needs to be about 6-8 inches taller/longer so it would be more easily grasped. Any 2607 owners have any input on this?

Looking at a tractor with a rated PTO HP of 55. The bush hog I'm looking at has a gearbox rating of 65hp. So mathematically my tractor is below the bush hog gearbox rating. But I'm wondering if I'm "cutting it too close" in regard to the PTO hp being so close to the maximum gearbox rating on...
