    Kubota B600 4wd

Hi sorry let me attempt to be clearer. I first lifted the front wheels (actually all of them engine running put it it gear in 4wd, only right rear was turning nothing at the front wheels, could turn either front wheel in either direction no resistance and no alternate action from the opposite...

    Kubota B600 4wd

Needing some help with this. 4wd seemed to be working when I got this li'l beast. Not it definitely is not. Pto shaft coming from transmission turning, splines on shafts although worn a bit are good, when I disconnected shaft and or before I could turn each front wheel independently, with...

    Kubota B6000 charging system

OK, I did this I got between 2-3 maybe 4 V AC on the 50 volt scale (not good at reading those analog meters), no matter which way I connected two of three wires to meter.

    Tires Kubota b6000

Hi all just wondering if anyone knows where to source the best prices and selsction for rear tires for a Kubota B6000. i thinnk this little unit still has the original Bridgestone "rice paddy" style AG tires on the rear. It's a 4wd and has Carlisle AG's on the front as well. When replacing the...

    Kubota B6000 charging system

Hi all, new here. Recrntly acquired a B6000 with a fel and a backhoe. Found fan-belt had been replaced but somebody didn't reinstall the tensioner. When I figured this out and sort of got some tension on the belt, I see from motor running charging system doesnt seem to be working. Only 11 volts...

Kubota B6000 charging system and more questions

Hi all there may be somewhere my questions answered on here but asking for help anyway. From what I can determine after recently acquiring this little unit c/w fel and small backhoe. I've posted some pics of the unit regarding another topic as well. I think it a 1973-1977, range. My charging...

No, i didn't do anything rough that would have broken anything but the previous owner/s probably did n then attempted to cobble it to work but not very well.

    B 6000 4X4 attachements

I hear ya there. Well on mine there doesn't seem to be any splines (unless the morons before me did something), I'll take a pick and try n send it ans what I did to fabricate a locking mechanism.Maybe my steering wheel isn't even the one for it, but it works gooder now.

    B 6000 4X4 attachements

Now that it's warmed up a bit. I had the opprtunity to remove the steering wheel, and cobble a locking means to stop the wheel from spinning on the shaft under the centre nut. There is no spline on this shaft, but under the hub there are some flutes. I ended up cutting a piece of 11/2 " pipe and...

    Welding a hydraulic anchor point

Not entirely sure. No actual identifiable markings. I took some pics of a similar newer hoe on an LA340 and the number of tth hoe was BT603. A tich heavier duty than mine fer sure. I'm finding other issues such as in mi us temps, the steering won't turn, also not entirely sure whar has happebed...

    Welding a hydraulic anchor point

Hopefully yes. Figured it was better to have a welding shop fix er up gooder than I might be able to do. Not that I didnt have the same idea to add a reinforcement plate but I didnt have the equipment and or experience to tackle the job. Heck the old weld I barley got the hoe touching the ground...

I hear ya, well for starters the unit cane with a new fan belt on it but someone potentially the second previous owner (guy befire the guy i bought from) probably put it on but didnt put the belt tensioner on. It was in a plastic bag zip tied to a jug of kubota oil. I figured out put what it was...

Hi, and thanks for the compliments on the rig. I kinda suspect the person I got it from probably broke those anchor points and had an amateur...

    B6000 Charging system

They appear orange in color. I'll begin with that but with a meter on battery terminals when running only shows 11 volts. the guy i bought it from said it was a new battery and looks fairly new. I'll have to verify the rectifier is good and the volts at the dyno connections are as they should be.

    Welding a hydraulic anchor point

I hear ya on the size. Up to now i hadn't seen any around my anticipated price range. So now I gotta work out the few bugs. Gotta educate myself with the dyno charging system and get that working, also the steering as it seems like it's frozen in the minus temps. Almost like the transmission oil...

Hold on a sec LD1 I haven't had a chance to get back to the replies I've received.
