    M5040 Hydraulic Shuttle operation

Ive got a tough decision im trying to make between tractors (L with hydro, and M with hyd. shuttle). I fully understand the hydro trans (own one) BX2200. I purchased 42 acres of mostly wooded and hilly land. Ive managed to clear approx. 6 acres for a yard, house, barn. My current tractor is...

Pics of my new M5040 w/Cab.

Nice setup! I am looking at the same and have a question on the hyd. shuttle for mowing w/a finish mower. I have an HST right now and have never used a hyd. shuttle, do you have to shut the mower down to stay "throttled up" and make a turn. I guess I am confused how you would keep your 540...

Tires Ag tires on rear/R-4s on front L3940

Thanks to all who replied. I was hoping it would be an easier fix. I figured Kubota might have a tire wheel combo that would bolt right up, no problem, easy fix. I know with my BX I could have done this, matter of fact my dealer let me try his own personal BX out and this is how he set his up...

Tires  Ag tires on rear/R-4s on front L3940

Does anybody know if this is possible? I would like to have the ags for better traction in the back and have the R4s on the front to help with loader operations and a little less tearing up the grass when mowing.

    Purchasing a Grapple...Which one??

I am ordering a Kubota 3540, 724 loader with factory 3rd function valve added. I heard Millonzi beefed up their outer arms to 1/2" instead of 3/8". Looks like some added protection for the cylinder with the angle welded in the grapple arm too!:D

    Purchasing a Grapple...Which one??

I think I've narrowed it down to the Millonzi LD 48", I noticed the FD sticker in the Ranger, are you a firefighter? I heard Millonzi beefed up the outer arms to 1/2" instead of 3/8" Is that correct? Also it looks like some added protection for the cylinder on the grapple arm! If you don't mind...

    L3240/3540 with MMM

Does anybody own a L3240 or L3540 with a MMM? I am currently looking at the 3540 R-4s with 724 loader and MMM. I haven't found much on TBN concerning the MMM on this tractor. I am wondering how well this setup would work, such as ease of removing the deck, will it raise all the way up with...

My L3400 HST arrived this morning!

MD11Fr8Dog, VERY nice setup, pretty much what I have narrowed it down to. Questions: I am undecided about the Woods loader (1009) like yours, the Woods website does not tell you if the loader control and hyd. couplers stay with the tractor or with the loader while detached. Also, the quick...

Does the loader control arm stay with the tractor on the Woods?

Woods loader or a Kubota loader for L3400?

Im looking at the L3400HST with kubota loader but I like the quick attach that the Woods (1009) has vs LA463. Im unsure about the Woods loader and price comparison. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks, Bob.
