2008 Nortrac 254. I was admittedly overtasking my tractor digging with the FEL in 4wd when I heard a "clunk" and lost my 4WD. It was my own fault but now I need to figure what is wrong. I need some help. Here is what I have done. I was hoping it was the drive shaft or a universal slipping. But...
I have a leak between the flow control valve (the valve with the big adjustment knob on it underneath the seat) and the housing it mounts to. In looking at the parts diagram it looks like there is an oil seal there. I removed the four bolts from the flow control valve and it only slid forward...
Nortrac 254. Probably a silly question but how are the screw-in dipsticks for the front axle, transmission...etc meant to be read? Do you screw them all them all the way in to read or just stick them in to the top of the first thread?
I pulled my dipstick out today and oil ran out of the filler tube. It wasn稚 like this a few months ago the last time I checked it. Any idea where the problem would be? Thanks in advance!
