Ford 1920 antifreeze leak at block fitting

Got one from walmart and the other from ebay. Read on here about the fitting and also the importance of using BSP threads to the block. Had to search around to find it online. Not sure which is easier as far as draining. I just used the bypass hose pitcock, lowest point on the engine and it...

Ford 1920 antifreeze leak at block fitting

Tackled the fitting this afternoon. Cut the hose barb part off so I could get a socket on it with a long handle ratchet. ATF and acetone for a bit and it broke loose. Sort of creaked a few times then spun out clean. Took maybe 30-45 minutes total. Cleaned the area up a little, ran tractor for a...

Ford 1920 antifreeze leak at block fitting

Awesome and thanks for the advice fellas. Will tackle this as soon as I can find a replacement fitting. Any help identifying what to look for and where? Ditto on the ATF. Been fixing up my old 96 tacoma the last 6 months and ATF certainly has helped on plenty of threads.

    Stihl 026-help

I plugged the muffler port, intake port and impulse tube then sprayed soapy water on the crank seals while I turned the crank. Tight as a drum and no bubbles. Found the wires to the kill switch had some nicks so I individually heat shrink covered both. Reassembled the saw with all the new lines...

    Stihl 026-help

This is the first chain saw to beat me down. Cranks on about the third pull. Runs fine at idle, when full throttled it will race to full RPM for a quarter of a second then stall and race to full RPM again, and again. A pulsing type thing. If I creep the trigger slowly it will build to almost...

    Ford 1920 Muffler correct?

The old muffler finally cracked clean through, the inner can as well. I'd already welded it back previously so it was time to replace it. I purchased a Stanley muffler F0-35. Read up, searched here for info and researched reviews on the model on other sites. When it arrived I could look down...
