    Small battery chain saw recommendations

I currently have a Husqvarna 350 and an Echo CS 590 Timberwolf. Both have 18" bars. My wife has been cutting up small limbs for years using a hand saw and was never interested in a small chain saw. Recently, she has decided that a small chain saw might be nice to have for her use. I do not...

    DIY BCS snow blower weights

I have a Grillo G110 and had the same/similar problem with light powder. It took a while to figure out what was happening, but I finally decided that the snow was blowing back on the muffler and carb along with the carb linkages. After blowing for a bit, I was unable to get the engine to run...

Homeowner's Insurance in Rural Maine - Chesterville

We have run into a problem and I am wondering if anyone out there has some sage advice to give. We own two homes. One is in Central New Jersey and the other is in rural Maine in Chesterville. Our current insurance is with a name brand company but year after, their rates have gone up in leaps...

    FRANSGARD VS IGLAND LOGGING WINCHS

They flip when I view them on my Linux system. Orientation information of the original picture is stored within the image. However, some systems do not look at that information when they are displayed. How about these? I just flipped and saved them.

    FRANSGARD VS IGLAND LOGGING WINCHS

Here are some pictures of an Igland 3501 alone and mounted on my Kioti NX4510. Note that my lift arms are outside the frame in the first mounted picture. I corrected the issue by changing the orientation of the pins so that the type 1 size was between the frame as shown in the last picture.

Grappling fun - A Picture Thread....

Here's the latest modifications to the Sundown GR40 grapple inspired by the quote above. I won't know how well this works until I try it but I hope smaller rocks that fell through the opening will now be caught. Anything smaller can just be picked up anyway. I also got longer bolts to attach...

Grappling fun - A Picture Thread....

I mounted the rock plate on my Sundown GR40 today and tried it out. Unfortunately, I need longer bolts to try the grapple with both the rock plate and extensions. After using the GR40 on some decent sized rocks, I think having both might help pry some of the bigger rocks up. Here's a picture...

Grappling fun - A Picture Thread....

OK. I think I know why the thumbnails were upside down. They were taken with a smart phone. Apparently, when you take a picture, orientation information is stored with the picture in metadata. That metadata information is usually used by applications to determine how to display the picture...

Grappling fun - A Picture Thread....

Apparently there are some small dimensional differences between the Frostbite and Sundown GR40 Grapples. Here's a picture of my Sundown extensions mounted. The extensions are unmodified. It looks like the vertical side pieces of the fingers are slightly longer on the Frostbite than the...

Grappling fun - A Picture Thread....

Here's a rock I picked up using my new Sundown GR40 grapple. I didn't even know the rock was there because it was covered with dirt but I went too deep trying to pull up a ground juniper. Next thing I knew, I had a big rock partially out of the ground and had to finish the job so I wouldn't...

NX4510HST CAL and Cruise Lights Flicker continuosly

New member here with a new NX4510HST. I only have about 8 hours on the tractor and haven't identified a particular problem with the HST. However, whenever the range selection is in any position other than High or Neutral between High and Medium, the CAL light and the yellow Cruise Control light...
