Adding Rear dual remotes to GC1710

So...in my quest to spend aimless foolish money on my toy....errrrr tool that I keep in the garage I ordered in the stuff to begin the project of adding dual rear remotes to my GC1710. I ordered a wolverine cylinder for a hydraulic toplink, a bunch of qc's for the remotes and a summit...

    Quick Hitches  Precision MFG

Anyone order or try a precision manufacturing mini 322 grapple? Seems like a nice fit for smaller tractors at 57" wide and around 250lbs. Next to the wicked grapple it's the lightest grapple I've seen for smaller machines. Any feedback would be appreciated.

    Canopy  Adding Rear Remotes GC1710

So I've been considering this for awhile. I wanna have the ability to run rear remotes for various tools as well as run a hydraulic top link. Has anyone tried to do this just yet? My plan is to used the backhoe plumbing to plug into a 2 spool valve body when I don't have the backhoe mounted...

    Price Check  Auction Bananza

I was watching an auction being held in central New York state this past week. I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw a GC1720/DL95/CB65 with 42hrs go for $11500! Then later on they had a GC1710/DL95/CB65 with 53hrs go for $11800! Neither had mower decks with them but man what a great deal for...

Grading  New To Me JD Rotary Cutter needs parts

Good morning folks! I was able to acquire a John Deere 205 Gyramor rotary cutter that I'll be running on my MF GC1710 and was curious where the best place to by JD parts was (besides my local dealer). It's been generously loved over the years but is still in good overall shape all things...

Traction  Brush Hog on GC series tractor

Good Morning folks! Has anyone been using a 5' brush hog on a GC series tractor routinely? I would typically go for a 48" or even a 54" if buying new but I have a 5' that is available to me via a family member that acquired a newer, larger more industrial cutter for his 2 farm tractors and...

Dirt Moving  LED lighting project on my GC1710

Given the wet and rainy conditions Nationwide outside tractor time has been limited this season as my land is still just mush. I've been reduced to using a field mower and my 4x4 ATV as a means to mowing the back half of my land (about 1.5acres). That made for some ideal garage project time...

    GC17XX series and box blades

I was fortunate enough to score a 48" Kodiak SD Cat1 box blade (now ownee by Paladin) from an auction for a local dealership that sold Cub cadet and Mahindra tractors. It doesn't appear used much if at all but looks like it's obviously been weathered and sitting outside. I tossed it on my...
