My Poulan 46 takes care of my two and 1/2 acre lawn just fine and fer me money spent on my machine shop foundry and forge habit as well as my tractor and other toys is my personal preference YMMV....................

Might want to check yer coil, some times a bad one will run till it gets warm than craps out BTDT...................

My Poulan Pro 46 has developed a sticky shift issue with the forward and reverse, don't like to have to stomp on it to get it to shift any ideas out there to cure this illness ??
