    Exmark BadBoy Ferris Scag

Sub, I looked at a badboy and I hope not to step on anyone's toes here but the diesel unit that I looked at had the appearance of a homemade mower. The pumps whined like a pack of hounds when you shot the coal to it and the ride wasn't in the same league as the Ferris. It had a 35h/p cat in it...

The Ferris 5100Z arrived at site yesterday

The Big Red Machine rolled up in the yard yesterday. Now the hard part is going to be finding the time to use this. I was getting a feel for it yesterday on my Pond dams and the front end came up too much for me so I had to find more suitable ground to play on :eek: I hope to have some...

Demoed a new Ferris 5100 today and......

I was shocked to see the 5100 series pull up today as opposed to the 4100 that I had originally wanted and after it was all said and done I honestly wish I would have ran the dealer off w/my shotgun for bringing it. I peered upon the engine compartment which was full of 33.5 h/p Cat yellow and...

    New Befco Aerator, "Pics"

Well, I pulled the trigger on a new Befco 6' aerator. The dealer had a lighter version but I decided as my luck might have it that the heavy duty version would work out better for me. I always had to rent one every year and rush like heck to get it back in time. I got sick of renting so I...

Tiller  Pics of the Orange tiller in action.

I was amazed at how well this First Choice tiller performed when I first sunk it in the ground. I guess this comes from me not having a HD tiller in the past. It dug so deep on the first pass I think I flipped up Jimmy Hoffa. :D Man, we do need some rain in the worst way though.

Tiller  A new Orange Toy, my Tiller.

I finally got some extra time to post pics of my new tiller I got. It is a First Choice Gear Drive 6' RT-14. The price wasn't that bad and they're imported/made/Sold in the next city so it was hard to pass up. Now to hook up my Jiffy Hitch on this baby and let it sing. Sadly, its so dry all I'd...

    Tiller  CCM Tiller weight claim?

I looked at the CCM website and the SR-185 caught my eye. It is advertised as weighing 1110lbs?!?! Anybody know if this is accurate? How can the other offerings from other manufacturers be this far off? This looks like beefy tiller. Any experiences w/the SR line would be helpful.

Pics-Pulled the trigger on new "BushHog".

I finally got around to procuring a replacement rotary cutter for the one that a friend bought from me. I had no idea this cutter was as heavy as it is. Its as heavy as a fat mans coffin  Unloading it off of my trailer was a hoot. I attached tractor loader to the front of it via chain as I...

I have a Kubota L4610 that's about 4 yrs old that has been pampered to the max but always used. It has approx 400 hrs on it. I noticed the other day that it appears to be leaking around the inspection window on the rear end. Not too bad but bad enough to cause me to worry it could get worse...
