    Buying new L3830

I have ten acres w/ a large pond, much of it sloped. Tractor use: moving dirt and gravel and rocks and digging to make beds, gardens, plant trees, build patios, terraces, post holes for fencing, clearing tree-lines, grading driveway, brushhogging once a year. My only concern about the 3830 is...

    Kubota L Prices

I'm all for buying local and do it all the time even if prices are higher. But local dealers still differ big time. All well and good to buy local if the savings on the tractor would have been $200, or $400 or even $600. But I have prices on L series tractors that differ by $2000 or $3000...

Price Check BX24 and price in CT and elsewhere?

I am having the same question re. buying locally. There's a place in KY with great prices, no tax, delivered with a full tank of gas. I'm at the NY/CT/MA border. You might try Salem Farm Equipment, they also have very good prices and are fairly close.

    Buying new L3830

well, I've pretty much decided on a L3830 w/ loader, backhoe, posthole digger, to start. Any suggestions on square loader vs HD round, or anything else? And does anyone think the L39 would be better? I know it makes backhoe work flow more easily. Thanks, Michael

Price Check best price on L3430

Sorry - another question - when you say L3430, etc., are we talking about the GL series? In the regular L series all I find is the 28099/3400/4400.

Price Check best price on L3430

John, I see what you mean about the loader being better on the GL models. That's the thing - I want a loader with a bolt-on edge, etc. I want a fairly solid machine, and I don't need it to cut grass. Its really for backhoe and loader work, postholes, some bushhog work twice a year, but mainly...

Price Check best price on L3430

Thanks. I have to say, I've spent hours looking at the Kubota brochures and website, and at the dealer looking at some models in each series, and I still can't keep it straight. You would think they'd have some kind of chart clarifying the strong points of each series. I will look at the...

Price Check best price on L3430

Hi - I, too, need advice on price, and maybe the right model for me, too. I have a price for a L3400 HST, with LA463FL loader and Woods BH80-x backhoe, of 25,080 before tax. Does this seem right? Also -- I have ten acres with a pond and need a tractor for fence posts, moving piles of dirt...
