I have no problem finding parts for my Kobuta tractor or implements. I needed two parts for my Kubota snowblower which is 10 years old no problem finding/getting them. My Grand L5030 is 18 years old and finding parts has never been a problem.

For what it's worth I love my 2004 Grand L5030 HSTC. Maybe it's my hearing but I have never noticed a "whine" from the transmission. The cab is super quiet IMO compared to standing outside when the tractor is under load. If you can afford it get the Grand L you looked at.

Most of the time I don't burn until there is snow on the ground. The pile would be rain soaked also. But I have never had a pile I could not burn using diesel. I try to get diesel deep into the pile as possible. Once the diesel starts to burn it generates enough heat to get a good complete burn...

You can buy just the LockNLube without the gun or hose. Think I paid around $30.00 a few months back. It will screw on any standard hose.

Where I live in Idaho the are 3 100hp plus NH tractors and they all run a Schulte snowblowers. There is not much that slows them bad boys down. It would be at least worth your time to look into a Schulte blower.

I have a 2004 Grand L5030 with the treadle and love it. Only took a few minutes to learn the best foot position that was comfortable for me.

I can take my F250 to the Ford dealer who lets me supply my own oil and filter and only charges me $25.00 labor. And the includes tire rotation.

You said you want to lift a 12' pine. But you never said what the DBH is. 5", 7" 10"?? There is a big weight difference between a 5" and 10" DBH tree. That could make a difference in reinforcing your bucket if needed.

For what it's worth when I buy a tractor I also buy the shop manual. My dealer is over 125 miles away and the closest "town" is 65 miles. So if I have a problem and need to talk to a mechanic we are at least looking at the same picture. That has saved me hundreds and hundreds of $$ over the years.

Every spring when I remove the snow blower and mount my FEL there is one hose that just will not go on. All I have to do is use a wrench to crack open the fitting by the bucket, let out a few drops of oil then the hose will go on super easy. This takes me maybe 20 seconds.

I am a Kubota man. But no matter which tractor you get I highly recommend it has a enclosed cab and four wheel drive. You will never, ever, ever be sorry you did.

I also threw in needle nose pliers, side cutter and a roll of safety wire. I'm an old helicopter crew chief. Got to have my safety wire!!(y);)

Once winter hits my tractor's block heater and battery blanket is plugged-in 24/7. A little higher power bill? Yes, but the tractor always starts. I use it for snow removal mostly in the winter and we do get below "0" temps often.

You say you will be burning the trees? No one uses firewood where you live, or no one with portable log mill? Here out west you have a lot of good money laying there. Great video. They sure don't make good products like that anymore.

I have had my Kubota L5030 since I bought i new in 2004 and love it. The old girl has never given me any problems. IMHO go with the Kubota

I have an "old" 2004 Kubota L5030 that has the clutch hook.

I use both a both a block heater and a battery blanket. My tractor will start at the temps your stating every time with no problems. Battery blankets don't cost that much and they work.

I have that problem on my FEL. One hose just does want to come off. What I have learned to do is crack open that hose at the bucket to release the pressure then the disconnect comes right off.

Thank you all, but I'll keep my 6' snowblower. A blade or loader are a joke in 2+ feet of snow. If I only had to move 6" of snow then maybe. But with the snow we get and over 12 other driveways, a blower is the only way to go.

We get 20 to 23 mpg on our 2021 Gladiator. I can live with that.

Has anyone installed a electric chute deflector on a L2185A front mount snow blower? If so where did you buy the bushings needed for mounting. The bushings are 3/4" O.D. by maybe 3/4" long with either a 1/4'' or 5/16" bolt hole.

The priming bulb on my tiller is not working right. When I push the bulb and then release it takes over a full minute to recover and it appears it is not drawing and fuel. Which, of course will not allow me to start the tiller. Any ideas on how to fix this problem? :confused:
