What water bottle do you have?

My Klean Kanteen was knocked out of my cup holder by tall brush and I ran over it. It doesn’t leak a drop, I still use it every day.

2014 Mahindra 3616 Shuttle Intermittent Starting Problems

I finally got around to doing this fix to my 2013 Mahindra 3616 this morning. I bought the tractor new and it’s had the click-click starting problem almost from the get-go. I don’t know why I put up with it so long. I thank everyone for the parts numbers and good instructions. They made it an...

    Pricing pallet forks

I have a set of 48” Chinese forks, but they didn’t last even a year. Thin metal and weak welds. Wound up going to several dealers within a 100 mile range. I chose a set of US made 42” forks. I am very pleased with them. The Chinese forks are in the scrap metal pile waiting to be repurposed.

Sorry, I can’t help you find a replacement motor, but I’m sure curious as to how it happened.

How to keep tractors battery from being stolen?

Many years ago I bolted a chain to the underside of my car hood. I ran it around the frame and padlocked it. I would be very concerned about losing the entire tractor.

    Excessive ads?

I don’t have a computer anymore. All I use is an iPhone and iPad, both of which are running DuckDuckGo and Norton AdBlocker. The ads have gotten very annoying and excessive.

    Stupid Things I Have Done

I needed to change a mandrel/spindle on my riding lawn mower. I dropped the mowing deck and turned it up on its edge. It has small wheels all along the edge so it was resting on those on my concrete shop floor. I was on my knees, holding one end with my knees, the other end was leaning against a...

Hi from the land of enchantment, New Mexico.

Holy moly. Just down the hill from my old stomping grounds. I still have property and family there.

    Portable Jump Starter

I was thinking of putting a 20V Dewalt jumper on my Christmas list, since I already have the batteries, but I’m rethinking that. I’m not sure I want to expose them to our summer Texas heat in a vehicle. And Dewalt may not be the best option anyway. I’m thinking maybe a NOCO 1200 amp is a better...

    Great customer service from Dewalt

JB Weld is another great product. They make one for just about application and they all work well. I was watching an old Gunsmoke a few days ago and and one of the characters said’ “I’ve spent half my life fixin things and the other half mending my fixes” That’s definitely me.

    New rechargeable work light

Here are a couple of photos of the Milwaukee if you’re still interested. I just used it to work on my daughter’s vehicle. I know you don’t like the switch, but it’s a very handy little fella.

    New rechargeable work light

Uh oh. Yes, on the Milwaukee the first time you push the button it comes on at the highest setting, push again for middle settling, again for lowest and then again for off.

    New rechargeable work light

Milwaukee REDLITHIUM™ USB ROVER™ Pivoting Flood Light It’s small, magnetic base, carabiner clip, USB rechargeable, pivots, and has three brightness levels. The only downside is that on the highest level, 550 lumens, the battery only lasts a couple of hours. I have extra batteries and usually run...

    Battery for 6000 mahindra

When the battery died on my 2013 Mahindra 3616 I took it to NAPA and got an equivalent Interstate. They easily matched it and I’ve had good luck with Interstates in the past.

What did you buy this week?

I bought a new set of pallet forks. Yep, it was just a few short months ago I was the proud owner of a new set of Chinese forks. Well, partly my fault, largely their fault, I was in the market for a new set. But it wasn’t a total failure, I used them long enough to know what features are...

    Hearing aid question

I think it probably depends on how bad your hearing is. I have profound hearing loss in both ears. My hearing is so bad I had completely quit talking on the phone. My wife had to make all our business calls. These are my first hearing devices and I am very thankful they have that option. It is...

    Pallet forks

Hello everyone. I have a 2013 Mahindra 3616 HST with the ML115 FEL. I’m thinking of purchasing a set of pallet forks and need advice on the connection system. I think it uses the Skid Steer Tool Carrier method? Anything in particular I should be aware of? Thanks.

    Mahindra 3616 hydraulic filter hose

Hello everybody, I need some help with the hose that connects the hydraulic filter to the pipe on a 3616 HST. It is not the same size on both ends, one end is reduced. I grew up working on cars in my dads garage and vaguely remember Fords having something similar back in the late 60s. Can...

    Hello from the Piney Woods

Hello. We retired a couple of months ago and moved to our property outside of Trinity, TX. We have a lot of clearing to do so bought a new Mahindra 3616. I've been lurking for a whole, decided it's time to come out of the shadows. ~JohnP3616
