Buying Advice 1972 JD 1520

I have an opportunity to buy a 1972 JD 1520 tractor with 6ft bush hog. The tractor needs a new gas tank and battery. Not sure of hours. Just wondering what this tractor's value is? I can buy it for $3k.

PTO shaft question

Hey guys I'm a newbie and looking for some info. I have a 2003 NH TC21 and I just bought a 48" Hinomoto rotary tiller w/o the pto shaft. My question is what size pto shaft do I need for it to work with my tractor? Is there a certain length or diameter or anything of that sort? What can I expect...
