Kubota L4400 Bucket level indicator. Do you have one?

I have a L4400 but I cannot remember the model of the FEL to save my life! I am not home at the moment... It is the quick attach if that helps and its about a year old...

Exofit is the way to go. Very comfortable and they offer click in connections. We wear them everyday while offshore and have never found one to be better. Company pays for them so price is not object!

Kubota L4400 Bucket level indicator. Do you have one?

I have the same level, came when I bought it and I had to ask what it was! Sure is a nice feature to take the guess out of things.

    New 2012 Chevy 2500HD!

I had the 6.0 back in a 2003 2500 and I loved it. As far as gassers go it is a great engine and I am sure you are going to love this truck, congratulations with the purchase. Tow mirrors are great to have and it is easier to get them now (read:cheaper) than later. As another said, add them to...

Fuel FIlters for Ford 6.0 Dsl

A quality filter is just that, quality. Quality costs money most of the time. Wix(Napa), Fleetguard, are all great filters and will serve you well. I invite anyone to carefully cut open their favorite oil filter next time you change one and see what you are dealing with. You may not want to...

    Kubota utility tractor questions

I run a 6' brush hog all day long at times and it loves every minute of it. There are many tractors that fit the bill and the L4400 is one of them.

    Clearing land options

Wow, a lot of great suggestions and advice! I will look more into the renting the forestry cutter, that seems like a good option. We had a bad experience with using a dozer around trees we wanted to keep several years ago. Long story short, a lot of them were damaged and several died off. I...

    Clearing land options

I have talked to a couple mulching companies and they want a good chunk of change to do what they do. That would leave me with a lot of good mulch and a way to get rid of the waste but I would also be left with hundreds of rotting stumps underground. How many years until there are depressions...

    Clearing land options

How would you folks go about it? I know there are a million ways but I want to know if there is general agreement to my plan. I need to clear some wooded area, about 3 acres, and be selective about it. I don't want to damage any trees I want to keep. I have a mix of oak, mesquite, spruce...

Posthole Digger CountryLine Post Auger from Tractor Supply on Small CUT

Not that it means much but I think the county line gearbox is only rated for a 9" auger bit. They are considered light duty. That being said, I use a 12" very often with success. I do by know if an 18" wouk be ideal, even on a larger tractor.

    Flaring tubing

Its not always applicable to go with the thickest wall tubing you can find. Sure, it will not hurt to use .065 but .035 (if available and thats what you have handy) will not hurt anything. Corrosion is not an issue with 316 SS tubing at any rate. I pass 5K regularly through .035 with several...

    Flaring tubing

.065 will work just fine but. 035 is easier to handle and rated for much more than your tractor will produce...unless you install an intensifier anyhow. Good deal on your flaring tool, they are handy creatures to have. I bend a lot of tubing (mostly #4 and #6 jic) at work and I do it with an...

    Fencing Help

I would suggest round posts, for some reason they last longer. I don't know why but I have seen several examples of this happening. A 9" auger will do you just fine and allow you to true your fence a little easier. All of my line posts are 6" and I have done a million of them with a 9" auger...

    Custom Tiedowns

You can buy bulk rolls of bungee from grainger (and other places) and a bag of hook ends and make whatever lenghts you need. We stock them at work this way and it works out really well as long as you know a couple good stopper knots.

    3pt scraper blade question

I was just thinking about the very question yesterday when I saw a scraper blade on the side of the road for sale. It seems to be a boxblade is more efficient. Granted, I have never used a scraper blade so maybe I am wrong. Would I give $300 for one. Nope.

    New Kubota L4400HST

    JD 4105 vs JD 4005

It came out to be more than the 4005 and almost the same as the 4105. Maybe a $300 difference. At the end of the day, I was more comfortable and happier on the orange tractor. I am convinced that either tractor will last a long time. Well, here's to hoping anyway!

    JD 4105 vs JD 4005

    JD 4105 vs JD 4005

I wish it was just the parking brake... I looked at it, the salesman looking at it, the tech came back out from the shop and looked at it. Whatever the problem was it was a bit more involved. They were really quiet about it and shuffled us away while another tech came out to help. I am not...

    JD 4105 vs JD 4005

So here is where I am... I finally made it back to the good ole USand went tractor shopping the same day. I went to 2 JD dealers and 1 Kubota dealer. The first JD dealer had the 4005 but did not have a 4105. No worries, I looked and drove the 9005 and generally liked the tractor. It felt...

    JD 4105 vs JD 4005

Thanks everyone. As I said, I am out of the country at the moment so my wife is calling around and making sure the dealers have what we want to look at, if not, where we can find it at. Everyone was helpful (JD knows us) except for MF. She called MF and every dealer within 200 miles was rude...

    JD 4105 vs JD 4005

I sure will. As of now, my order of preference is the JD 4005, Kubota L4400, MF 1643, and the Mahindra 4035. The JD looks like a solid piece of equipment that is built they way I prefer it, simple. The Kubota is a contender as well, maybe a little more ease of operation than the simple 4005...

    JD 4105 vs JD 4005

I am just getting back into "newer" tractors and I had no idea is was just a new designator. I suppose that explains why I am not finding much information on the 4005. Once I searched for 990 the information flowed like water! I am still overseas on business but I get back at the end of next...

    JD 4105 vs JD 4005

I am leaning towards gear, so that essentially means the 4005 model. My budget is not allowing for too much more of a tractor and I am afraid the "boss" might start asking questions. I am not looking for the difference, just the amount an engine us used in other platforms. This can often...

    JD 4105 vs JD 4005

Good morning all, We are looking for a tractor and have come up with either the 4105 or the 4005. Both fit our needs well but I have a concern over drive train. One is 4cyl (4005, Yanmar 4TNV88) and the other is a 3cyl (4105, Yanmar 3TNV84T-KJT). I realize output is nearly identical and...
