    PTO Disengaging Randomly

Did you ever identify the problem? Mine did the same thing this morning. Started out fine then randomly cut out. Would start back up for 1 second then stop suddenly. Would do same with pto disconnected. I let it sit for 5 minutes and then was able to work for 10 minutes then pto suddenly...

    V519 Compact Telehandler

Anybody know anything about front windshield washer? Motor doesn't come on when I push switch. The wiper works fine, just can't get fluid to flow. Rear washer works fine and I assume they use same reservoir but different pump. Or maybe same pump and have diverter to control flow. Pump does...

    V519 Compact Telehandler

Has anyone run a dozer blade on one of these I got a 96 inch blade that is approved to run on v417, but v519 is not approved for dozer blade. Should be OK I would think if the v417 can do it. They look like pretty similar machines. Larger more aggressive tires might push harder on v519 and...

Bent SSQA plates/hands - what are my options?

My dad's was bent like that. What we did was angle the ssqa forward and set it down on a concrete slab (tractor sitting on large flat slab). Applied arm downforce and supported front of tractor lifting wheels off ground. You could tell one of the plates was not flat on the concrete and the...

    V519 Compact Telehandler

Pushing over 12 inch or bigger oak with danuser intimidator. The v519 is an absolute beast. So strong and solid. Wonderfully capable machine. So much stronger than I thought it would be. Boom is so solid I don’t worry about it. Even turning while pushing 7ft bucket. No problem. I...

    Shop manual

Just google 2014 toolcat shop manual. Make sure you have your serial number and sift through results. I've ended up being able to find shop manuals either for free or at the most $20 to download as pdf Bobcat sells the shop manuals but they are pretty expensive...

really need your advice if you have ever had an insect infestation !!!

Fipronil. It is a termiticide. Can buy under brand name Taurus. It kills somewhat slowly (days) but it eradicates bugs. No ant beds in yard for a year after light application. Add a little to household insecticide and spray baseboards. No bugs in house for a year. I would spray the...

    V519 Compact Telehandler

You are correct on pressure and flow. I would assume flow is proportional to rpm more or less. Things definitely move faster when you raise the rpm. Maybe I could time a cycle with the boom from ground to fully raised to estimate flow at idle vs max rpm

    V519 Compact Telehandler

So we bought a greenhouse and the windows have to be slid in from end of roof ridge on the outside. Instructions show doing it from a ladder. The V519 made this much easier. The 84" severe duty bucket makes a good work platform if you are on your knees or sitting and is very stable. Being...

    V519 Compact Telehandler

Had an unexpected opportunity to use the special capabilities of the v519. We ordered a large greenhouse which they delivered in a 12 foot long crate that was 4 ft wide. It had been slid up into the truck at the warehouse and the truck driver only had a set of pallet jacks. I don't know how...

    V519 Compact Telehandler

For your viewing pleasure This is an absolutely amazing machine. I am so glad that I got it instead of a compact track loader. Does not tear up the ground really at all with 4 wheel steering. Very maneuverable. I like the ability to reach out and pick things up without having to get the...

If you have Toolcat questions, ask them here...

I would just check the oil level and make sure it is good. Should not be anything to pressurize axle to make blow out. If it is not low on oil, I would just watch it. I assume it is only leaking a tiny amount?

    V519 Compact Telehandler

I found a lightly used 2019 V519. Was looking for V417 but found great deal on a low hours V519 and figured a newer machine would be less downtime. I will post pics when it gets here and I am going to put it to work. Will get some pictures and videos posted up. Thanks to XFaxman for all your...

    Next Gen Toolcat…. UW56

Dealer I talked to said uw53 is only sold loaded. Only options are tires, backup camera and couple other small things. $85k msrp and he said realistically 79-80k would be the price. That is just a huge chunk of change. I think I paid around $50k in 2011 for my 5610 f-series.

    Next Gen Toolcat…. UW56

So tempting, especially with supply chain shortages. It is ridiculous, but I am almost to the point of get things while I still can. First time I've ever been truly pessimistic about the future of our country. Seems like not enough people are willing to work and the leaner to lifter ratio is...

    Next Gen Toolcat…. UW56

I like the new design. Looks more modern, but only thing I really, really wish my 5610 f -series had was the traction control. I assume this new one has that. Any guesses how much to get out of a 2011 5610 F-series with 1200ish hours in excellent condition and get into a loaded uw53? I know...

Dying on initial start of day. Fine thereafter. Slight chop in RPM. (Solved)

2011 F-series. Has had a rapid but small fluctuation in engine speed at certain rpm's and loads for years. Changed fuel filter and finally wrote it off to software like HP management. It did not affect operation. I could just hear it and see the tach bouncing 20-50 rpm. Gave up on this...

When will next series after G be released?

I have a 2011 5610 F-series with 1100 ish hours and am wanting to get new toolcat with traction control. I bought mine a couple years before G series with traction control released. Would prefer to wait for next series which you would think would be soon???. Don't want to buy right at the end...

    Useful Life

Had this pic on my phone. I had made a splitter with 5 ton cylinder and a weld on wedge mounted on the bottom where the current splitter is. It worked fine but pushed logs out the end and I had to reposition to split them again. My dad's wood splitter engine died and he bought a new one so I...

    Useful Life

I have a 2011 F-Series 5610 with 1100 hours on it. Had to replace battery connection terminal, 1 hydraulic hose end (my fault; wasn't paying attention and tree limb broke connector on end of hose), high flow solenoid (not too difficult), tires (sliced one on a piece of metal; so replaced all 4...

    2014 5610 F PTO not working 50-78 error

That error is aux hydraulic diverter off. Front aux hydraulics work fine. High flow is fine. Resistance of PTO diverter solenoid is 7.1 ohms (reference 6.8 ohms) so I think that is fine. 14v delivered to solenoid when hitting pto switch, but no pto action. Sits for a few seconds then pops...

Toolcat f-series tank leak at hydraulic filter mounting bracket.

2011 5610 F-series. Has always had slow hydraulic leak that I was never able to track down, but figured it had to be from the tank somewhere near the sight glass. When filled near the top of the sight glass it would leak down slowly until at the bottom of the sight glass, but not much...

    HIgh flow error 29-03??????? Toolcat 5610 F-series

So, cutting grass today in hi flow with 90 inch mower. Error light comes on and machine goes into standard flow mode. Finished cutting grass. When I shut machine off I can put it back in high flow (blades spin faster) but it only stays there for a few seconds and then light on high flow goes...

Broke power bobtach hydraulic fitting. Any idea how to replace?

I was cutting brush with front mounted bush hog. Lots of limbs and one of them got caught on the hydraulic line that goes to the passenger side bobtach cylinder (hooks at top of cylinder so would be the closing side). Snapped fitting right into. Cylinder is fine. I thought it would be a...

    Broke fender bush hogging

Hopefully pics will attach. Fabbed new fender from 1/8" sheetmetal laying around. Maybe weighs 10 or 15 lbs. Much tougher than stock plastic part. Happy with result. My welding and plasma cutting skills are still young....... but beat having to source and pay for a new fender. This was just...

Toolcat suddenly shut down while driving

2011 F-series 480 hours. Perfect until today. Was driving back home with load of wood in the bucket and machine suddenly stopped. Like I had hit the stop button, but display went dark, a/c fan shut off. lights went out. Like someone had suddenly pulled the plug. I hit the enter code button...

    Toolcats are awesome

My 2011 F-series has been the coolest piece of equipment I have ever owned. I was concerned about buying it for a primary workhorse around the farm due to the narrow central boom and concern about twisting it. I have used an 80" dozer blade and cut ditches with it, dug all kinds of ways with...

Moving 15000 lb 12x40 park model mobile home with toolcat?

We are buying some land on the river and putting a little mobile home on it for a camp. Need to be able to pull the trailer to higher land in case of flood. You think the toolcat would even attempt this? I know the towing capacity is 4000 lbs, but can't imagine why it is that low. Heck you...

    Trailer lights

Going to pull trailer in parade and needed trailer lights so I could drive it safely to town. Very rapid light surge under light loads

2011 f series with 125 hours. Works great. Love the machine. Had a tiny leak of hydraulic fluid on the return line from the fan due to loose fittings. No problems with machine. When the engine is under light load (cruising on level terrain or slight incline), it surge very slightly. Can't...

    Break in service done.

All I can say, is that as soon as I start having problems with the Toolcat after I get it paid off, is that I will trade it in on a new one. Had to take the muffler off to get to the case drain filter. Oil filter easy enough to change. Main hydraulic filter easy. Had to take muffler off to...

Air conditioner compressor not coming on?

I noticed this morning that the ac compressor was not on even though the switch and fan were on. It has been unusually cold here in mississippi (47 degrees this morning). Does the compressor have a low temp cutoff? It was working fine yesterday when it was warmer. Just wondering if any of you...

    Dozer blade

Anyone use the dozer blade? How does it do? Seems like it could do well for grading and dirt work. In all wheel steer the rear wheels could still steer even though there was not much weight on the front. Just wondering how it actually is.

Reliability: Please check in with hours and problems

I went and played with an open cab 5600 at the bobcat dealership. Amazing machine. I love the turning radius, the top speed, the ease of use. My wife was able to hop right in and drive it which is something she would not be able to do on a tractor. I am strongly considering purchase of a new...

    5610 d series vs f-series

Anybody know the differences between the d and the f series? I am in the market for a toolcat and want to get the better deal. Does the f-series have more of the emissions junk that I certainly do not want? Lift capacity any different? Dealer said there might be some differences in the...

Looking at purchasing 5610. Some basic questions

I live on about 125 acres of family land. Already have an old ford 555 tlb for doing heavy stuff. Need an ag tractor for doing the garden, bush hogging, etc. The toolcat 5610 looks fantastic to me. I like the cab so I could have a child or wife with me while doing things. Also could use it...
