We just finished building a log home (we didn't, builder did), and with a porch and small windows and lots of kitchen cabinets, ended up with a very dark kitchen.
Would using flourescent shop lights above the cabinets (pointing upwards) work?
Too much heat?
I put up 3 strings of rope lighting...
We built a new house but used the well from the old house that was still working fine. The well was serviced, and a new pump installed, etc.
Problem is that the water is very, very hard and has iron in it.
Any recommendations for water conditioning/filtration companies, products to look at...
I have a new (<1 hr) Gator TS, and have a really hard time starting it. I use the choke, and crank for 30 to 45 seconds before it will catch. (Most of the time I can't stand cranking for more than 10 to 15 seconds, stop and try again). The weather is cool, gas if from the dealer.
Ideas?

Is putting a bunch of road gravel in those areas sufficient so it is less muddy next rainy season? The road we had redone has done fairly well with gravel, crowning and...
I have a John Deere 60 that I can't get started and even if I could has more mechanical problems that I don't have the aptitude to repair on my own.
Does anyone have a recommendation for a tractor mechanic near Potosi, MO?
Is there a reason to NOT use the 4wd on a JD 2305 all the time? Or is it worse to keep switching from 2wd to 4wd when I need to, the switch back to 2wd when I get better traction.
We just got a 2305 and are using it to bush hog a large area of overgrown brush and tiny trees. The land is...
We bought a 60 acre piece of property near Potosi, MO, and about 20 or so acres had been cleared, and there is a pond.
Our problem is that much of that area is overgrown and the pond area especially is a mess. We are going to build there, but also want to do the right thing for the rest of the...
