I need some assistance trying to get a JD 318 started again. It has sat for a couple years and I've changed the gas. Got it to fire with some starting fluid, but can't seem to get gas flowing thru the fuel line. Any suggestions?

I recently have acquired a JD 318 with a hydrostat transmission. It does not run at the moment and I need to move it from its current location. I cannot find a release for the transmission. Can anyone tell me if there is one, or can you push/pull it without damaging the tranny? thanks.

Was curious to know if a bad alternator or generator would affect the deck engaging.
