Funny thing happened on the way to purchasing a B7800. I test drove an L3400.
Though the L might limit some places I might go on the property, the extra HP and position control would be nice.
I was wondering about brush cutters though. Seems like a meduim duty cutter like a Woods...
I've got a bit of field grass to mow, but mostly forest edge with Oriental bittersweet vines and saplings I intend to keep at bay. I do have the occasional rock 4-8 inch rock sneaking it's way out of the ground.
Is the Landpride 1860 durable enough for this or would something along the lines...
I've got a lot of viny "edge" to cut. Some grass, but mostly keeping the edge of the fields from turning into woods. Oriental Bittersweet & mountain laurel are the chief offenders. Got the occasional rock that sprouts up out of the ground too.

My new tractor needs shelter. I need a ton more outsidr the house storage space as well. I was wondering what your thoughts are about my options.
I'm looking for something sized about 14 x 24. And I'm too dangerous with a hammer to do it myself.
I could get a shed for a bit more than 9...
Would I have a problem with a RCR 1860 on a B7800. Both in terms of lift weight and cutting power? Mainly to be used to keep my woods edge clean in my fields. Have a lot of viny growth like Oriental bittersweet. Some mountain laurel.
If I dropped down to the 1548, anyone see any...
Has there been any dealer or Kubota price increases in the past year? Materials and energy have been firm for a while now and I was wondering if any of that has been passed along yet and can we expect it to continue
I'm looking at tractors in the Kubota B7800/ L2800 and B7610 range. The 2800/ 7800 have 22 hp pto's. the 7610 has an 18 hp pto
All are ok with the other stuff I want to do with it, but I do have some light brush cutting on the edges of my property and som light field cutting in the middle...
Up in the air over this one. Don't need the Mid PTO and I could use the extra weight of the L2800. Would also consider a B7610 What is the average price difference between the 3?

Which would make more sense on a 30 HP Kubota B7800? A Blower or Plow attachment. Is driving backwards with the blower a problem? Though I can see the benefit of turning back around and having the loader right there in front ready to go.
I have just under 1000 ft of winding hilly paved...
