My L2900 no longer shows the glo plug light and is hard to start (as if no glo plug operating) when cold. Easy to start with a warm engine. Any ideas?

My bucket is pretty close to being useless with a load on it. It goes up/down/rollback/dump all day long with no load, but when you load it up it doesn't want to lift. Also...when I let it down it doesn't come down until I hit the float detent on the joy stick. This 1997 L2900 has 1200 hrs...

I'm enjoying retirement, spend most of my day doing stuff I want to do (ask my wife). Every so often I will cooperate with her requests, but only if I have the time (an agreement prior to retirement). I love messing with my horses but I find that I'm working for them without realizing it...
