    Cushioning a bucket cylinder

When I dump a load out of my FEL bucket, the bucket hits the stops very hard. I have had to reweld the stops on the loader arms. What I would like to do is machine a new piston to include a cusioning effect on the extended end of the stroke. What I don't know, is the clearance needed between the...

    BX23 engine oil leak

My bx has been dripping oil out of the crankshaft seal behind the flywheel. I finally got tired of cleaning up after it. Pulling the flywheel did not require a puller, BUT be sure to mark the flywheel so that it goes back on in the same position that it came off. Two self drilling sheet metal...

    BX 23 loader

When I back drag with the bucket, after a couple of passes the bucket gets sort of floppy and dosen't hold position very well. Kubota parts 'RANT"

I smashed a tail light on my BX23 a while back. $17 for a new light, no problem. Today I broke out one lens of the same light. Went to buy the lens. No way, you have to buy the whole light for another $17. I will replace all of the tail lights with something that I can get parts for. Even the...

    What is it?

This was given to me. It has a touch of green paint on it and weighs in at 43 pounds. I was told that it was a tractor weight. What was it used on and how was it mounted? ron

MY Mods to a BX TPH

I've been a long time reader a some times committer and will for the first time contribute to this fine forum. I've made a few changes to my TPH. First, to allow the back blade to follow the contours of the church parking lot, I replaced the rigid lift links with links made of chain and also...

A while back there was a thread about storage of the mmm on its side. I think that it involved wheels to allow rolling it to the corner of the shed. Can someone help me out here. Thanks. Ron

    Engineering advice needed

I have picked up a scrap LP gas tank (500 gal) to build a lawn roller. It is 3 1\2 ft in dia and will be about 6 1\2 ft wide. What size axle shaft would you recommend putting in this thing. My sod looks like a plowed field due to the moles. Ron
