    Racor installed on DS3510

After being inspired by the installs on here, finally got around to doing mine. Mounted on FEL mount, before the lift pump. Left the old one after the pump for double protection. Mainly wanted the Racor for the water separation (had a **** of a time with water and the old plow truck last...

Using old Fisher valve body to control FEL plow...

So got to thinking, I have an old underhood Fisher valvebody from an old Speedcast (conventional) plow setup along with cables and controls. I want to use it to control the angle function for my yet to be fabbed FEL plow, but need some input from those who know tractor hydro systems better...

    Rear remotes or third function...

I am looking to fab a quick attach plow for the FEL on my Kioti, not sure if I should go with a rear remote kit or third finction. I want to maintain all controls on the FEL but be able to angle the plow, so would a rr kit or 3rd function be my best bet based on... I have nothing that needs a...

    Those with plows on FEL...

....i am assuming you are running some sort of tractor hydro fluid? My project will entail using the plow on my truck and tractor, wondering how the electro-hydru pump on the truck will do with it instead of normal plow or ATF fluid. Anyone have experience with this?

    Plow frame...

Anyone ever make a plow frame for mounting a plow on the front, but not using the loader arms. Not sure I want to go with a loader mounted plow, my friend had a frame made for his JD to mount a truck plow, forget what it looked and how it worked though. Anyone have any pics/links/ideas/etc?

    Making a DS3510 "Tactical"....

Since I have a neighbor who is a little crazy (to the tune of threatening the neighbors lives for the past two years), and the state of VT seems to not care to do anything, it was time to protect myself when working in an open cab.....added a Blackhawk holster for the Beretta! Mounting...

    Comer shaft cover bolts....

Anyone have an online source for those little T bolts that hold the shaft cover tube to the outer ends? I broke one removing the cover and no JD or Kabota dealers around here have them nor can get them. Seems like every other shaft uses the turn and remove as opposed to those stupid little...

Gear and HST vs manual and auto.....

Just curious if there is a bias....My wife and I own only manual transmissions (motorcycle to Bombardier SW48 and everything between) to include the DS3510. Those with HST or gear, is your daily driver an auto or stick?

I just got to use my 68" Metero for a little bit this past weekend, and have question for those that have run a snowblower with shear pin shaft..... Aftermarket Toplink holder...

After my "wife" bent the OEM Kioti toplink when raising the rear weight, I had to get a *gasp* JD toplink (closest dealer to me)....well, the ends are larger ID (stronger) but will not fit in the OEM Kioti top link holder. To resolve this, I welded a half chain link to the body of the top link...

    DS 3510 and MPC chains..

Installed with tensioners....went with the MPCs for the asphalt driveway, but glad for clearance issues with lower links. In any case, Aquiline MPCs fit like a glove!..VERY good fit! Chains, standard install, took 2hrs for the right side, 30 min for other. Always easier AFTER you have link...

    Stupid Myers plow....

Every stinking year I hook up the Myers on the Explorer plow truck something electrical is wrong. This year I get no raise, only goes left when raising. Probably the "B" coil, but then the stud on the "C" valve breaks while taking off the "C" coil to test.....so now I'm GUESSING I need a new B...

    Rearview mirror and 12V outlet...

Living on a rather busy rural highway in VT made me want to have a rearvie mirror....mounted on the craossbar, drilled and tapped for four 1/4 x20 bolts. The mirror is a Jeep rearview from Summit.... Snowblowing for the neighbors that live down the road also led me to want a strobe for when...

Meteor 68" with no shear pin...

Picked up a used 2010 68" Meteor, but there is no shear pin for the impeller. The auger has one, but the PTO shaft that came with it has no shear pin, and I do not beleive the guy had a slip clutch. Manual mentions the shear pin should be on the shaft, but not there. Anyone have any experience...

Pallet forks add on D rings for lifting...

Wanted to get a plate for simple lifting purposes, but realized that I could do the same with my pallet fork plate. I wanted to eliminate the forks for lifting stuff, so I added some D rings on the outside. After some thinking, it seems the outside was the best place to avoid intereference...

    Aquilion MPC chains...

Anyone have them? I have a paved driveway, and ice chains are too agressive. I run Vbars on the plow truck, and they are not too bad on the asphalt, but the MPCs look to be a good US made compromise for traction and non destructive to pavement. Also looking for a source for them, can't seem...

    Two maintenance questions.....

Starting to dig into my DS3510, a few questions...... 1. What is the orange plug bythe dipstick? 2. Rear 3pt only rises with FEL....also FEL control question...

Only way I can get the rear to raise is using the FEL, assuming this is not normal? If not, what could cause this? Will ROPS provide ground for aux lights?

Looking to add aux lighting to the ROPS at the top, but not sure if it offers a ground or if I will have to run another wire for ground. Using Grote lights that ground with the mounting stud, and I need to know before I order 1 or 2 wire plugs for each light. Oh yeah, i don't even have the...
