Can anyone explain how the shuttle shift mechanism works inside the transmission. Something has failed in mine. The linkage and cable seem OK, but it was dark. All the diagrams I can find are for the standard transmission. I would like to know what to look for before I open it up. Thanks

Earlier on this forum (I think) I saw reference to truck tire chains for the 254/285 turf tires. I think they were 11:00 x 22.5. Is this correct? I can't seem to find that post. If that was the size, how well did they fit?

The newer frame mount has a ~3/8" to 1/2" strip welded above and below the slot for the rear hangers. Does anyone know if this is now sufficient? It changes the options for beefing it up now.

Does anyone know the changes between the two. I have a supposed standard 284 but I need the Loader mount kit for and LE.

I need to make the mounting brackets for the jimna hoe frame and attach to the Koyker 160 mounts. Does anyone know the dimensions of these brackets? Size hole (since I haven't measured the pins yet), height, width, gap etc. Anyone have any tips before I experiment? Thanks
