This question is about what to do with the Onan on the 420 LG. it still runs great, but , I have an oil leak and almost 1500 hrs on it. It is expensive to re-build the Onans, but It's 2K for a Honda repower. I like the idea of keeping it original! Comments?? Sent from my iPhone using TractorByNet

My tractor runs fine at low and mid throttle. But if put it up to full throttle, it wants to die. If pull choke out half way, it runs fine again. I've used carb cleaner ' spray ' in the past when I've had similar problems , and it works for a while , but , the problem always seems to come back...

Just trying to find some honest opinions on the B series engine. Tractor has nearly 1500 hours, doesn't smoke, and runs great. Does have an oil leak which I have not located yet. What's with all the heat shields on this engine? Are they TRUELY necessary?just looking for feedback...

Anyone know where to get a trans shaft cheaper than JDParts.com ? They want $550. the yoke from the drive shaft has worn the teeth on the trans shaft. And the drive shaft then in turn wobbles, Which in turn vibrates the whole tractor. Any suggestions? I originally thought it was the u joints but...

I have an '87 212,just replaced all the belts,adjusted the variable speed lever, referring to the manual step by step,now it is worse, the variable speed barely works. Do I need to adjust the spring? Or is there a way to tighten the belts? Thanks, any help would be appreciated
