About time, the L60 was a little long in the tooth. These new Grand L's seem real nice!
I was real impressed with the L3240 we were working on…..super nice tractor! I could only imagine the 60 Series….and now the 70 Series!

I'd like to see more how the remote start works. I imagine there is enough brains in the ECU to know when to cycle glow plugs in the cold?
Ford Superduties have had this for a while now. My RZR does that, most vehicles with the keyless ignitions do as well. It's pretty to do with all the sensors on a modern engine. Temp sensors all over to know how to cycle the grid heater (assuming they keep the grid heater rather than glow plugs). Cam or crank sensor to determine when the engine speeds up due to starting vs speed from the starter.

Yes I know that, just saying until now tractors never really had that brain power. The newer ones with ECU's were pretty basic.

I'd imagine any machine with a high pressure electronic injection or DPF/DEF system would have all the sensors & computing power required to pull it off. At that point it's just a matter of a $20 key fob & $20 with of radio to get the remote start.

Thing I cant find out, how much do they weigh? Price is around 52k USD starting from the US website. I'm sure with a loader and some premium features etc.. you're looking closer to 75-80k usd all said and done.

My 2021 L3560 cab with top and tilt, larger loader option and backhoe was $78K. I'm almost paid off with 260 hours on it. All of the transmission features talks about, I have. The new lighting and updated AC and Heat Weld be the real selling point, mine struggles bad to cool when I'm out brush hogging on a 95 degree day. Essentially, I run the AC balls out and keeps me from dying in the closed up cab.... I sure wouldn't call it cool! Not like your car or truck. I love my Grand 60 series, but I do sort of wish for a bit more ass under the hood once in while when I'm running the 72" hog and I've ignored the pasture for far too long, and the growth is higher than the hood.

I built an L6060 cab with an air ride seat, R4 tires, loader with bucket, 3rd function, 3 remotes, and 3 sets of wheel weights. It was $73,310. I imagine the new L6070 will be closer to $80,000 nicely equipped.

Going by the videos and specs the 70 series GL's are phenomenally nice machines. Operating one of them should be quite the experience. Getting the L4240 was a wonderful upgrade, and the 70's have even more amenities.
HOWEVER, unless some very rich uncle should name me in his will, visiting Messick's to look and touch will be as close as I get to having one. Being realistic, my 100 hours/year of mowing our 3-1/2 acres and occasional snow plowing have been done successfully with considerably less tractor than I have now.

Overall, the L70 looks to be a great package. The heated swivel seat is a nice add and the loader mounted lights are a big plus!

I like the idea of a remote start, but I don't see it being of much use if the tractor is stored inside. I can't imagine many owners leaving a near $100K machine outside exposed to the elements.

Hopefully, some improvements have been made in sound proofing the new cab. There is no way I would be able to make a hands free cellphone call in my L6060HSTC with the engine running.

Looking forward to seeing one in person though.
