Sorry when I see a turtle/terrapin in this pose I'm thinking I could cap it... I call capping them when I shoot the heads off. A lot more challenging than center mass. We get so many at my pond all through out the year (well minus dead of winter) just another vermin to control.

Yep. Evidently you've never had a stringer of fish eaten from turtles. When I decide to harvest fish from my pond, I don't want to share them with the critters.

And yes while I do own an "A h-le!" its my pond, my fish and I'll protect em as I see fit. No explanations needed. You can keep yours on your property and do as "YOU" see fit.

Our lake we shot snapping turtles, but never others. They can remove a finger or toe!
