As stated in a previous post, we are looking to purchase a used (23/24)3500 Ram. It seems they all have the 68RFE. Did they stop putting the Aisin in these trucks at some point? Which is better?

The 2500s prior to 2025 only had the 68RFE with the standard output 6.7 Cummins.
The 3500 and up had the high output 6.7 with the Aisin up through 2024.
For 2025 and up 2500s and up get the Powerline ZF 8 speed with 6.7 having the same kind of power as the old HO rating.

Nothing wrong with the 68RFE trans in the 3500. My 2014 has 185k on the 68RFE. As long as you service it, it'll treat you well. Have been past max tow ratings once or twice. Maintenance goes a long way!
