Hydraulic FEL sickle mower

Has anyone seen one of these things? A guy on Marketplace is selling one for $800. Seems like a pretty good deal!! He has a video of it cutting small tree branches overhanging his road and it looks like it will do some work. Any idea what sort of GPM it would need? DOes not look like it is on a tractor with a huge GPM. Would my electric over 3rd function handle this?Inquiring minds want to know!!

I have a Canadian made version (saber I think it was called). I paid about $2600 for a few years ago. Works pretty well for smaller limbs and stuff. Never used it on grasses. I mainly use it on my Kioti for trimming paths. My kioti I think it about 16gpm. That looks like its in pretty good condition overall.

We have a Samurai Sabre. Similar, low gpm. You dont want it running fast as it can push flexible branches ahead of it. Nice that the one you show will tilt. If you have an HST that will travel ok at low rpm that would be best. Speed and steering finesse is good. Easy to damage the bar with a geared tractor behind it.
