New garage time!

I was putting the doors back on the cart, i left one hand go to drop the pin in. It slipped. Right onto my big toe. Right where the nail comes out.

Fortunately i was wearing flip flops and could make a quick assessment of the damage. Lots of blood nail is black, broke the skin under it.

I did that with a ceramic disc* and it hurt like crazy. I got vey little sleep that night and it seemed to take a long, long time to grow out. To this day, that nail separates from the skin farther down than it used to.

* fancy word for a dinner plate. But hey, flip flops would be okay inside the house. I think I was barefoot, can't remember. I did have a pair of camo flip flops that had survived numerous puppy chewings, I could have had those on.

What used to be 5 trips hauling 50lb bags on my shoulders, or 3 trips with the wheelbarrow over uneven ground, or going to the back to get hte kubota and put 5 bags in hte loader, to move 250lb chicken feed 75 yards, is now tossing 5 bags in the back of the cart and driving over.

I cleared a little track to take the kid on in the cart. I thought it was pretty flat, but I was wrong. I also learned that I desperately need new shocks. Fortunately all new shocks is only about $70 on amazon.

This is useful. I'm working on the solar racking and I can put the welder in the cart and drive where ever I need without lugging it around. I want to install an inverter so that I can power it right from the cart.

Get a small generator and you will have a mobile work station!!! I have a small Honda generator that powers my small pancake air compressor, or my demolition hammer, or any of my corded tools. For welding, I have to put in my big Champion generator. It's just super easy to put everything in the bed and drive to where I'm working on the farm.

My 48v battery has a 200a bms, which means 10kw potential. That's a lot of juice. I could hold a 2kw generator to charge battery, then go to inverter, then to run pretty much anything.
