John deere 755
I replaced the starter now it will not spin. Power gets to the fuel shut off solenoid but then it does not come out of it to the starter. I replaced the solenoid not long ago. Could this be a bad solenoid or a different problem? Thanks in advance

I would suspect a bed connection or broken wire vs a bad solenoid causing this problem.

That picture might as well be in braille. And it's chopped off. See if the starter spins if you jump the purple(?) and red(?) wire. MAKE SURE THE TRACTOR IS IN NEUTRAL!!!!!!!!

I suspect the white wire feeds the fuel solenoid only during cranking. When the engine starts, power to the fuel solenoid most likely comes from the ignition switch (which is cutoff in the image).

I think the solenoid has two windings, one from the switch to the 'hold in 'coil that is used after start. The other, active only when cranking is the 'pull in' coil, only needed when cranking. Just a guess though

I think you may be misinterpreting the current flow.
The starter may be the source, not the destination.

But, we need to see the entire pic, not just the clip shown. Needs to include at least the ignition switch.

In almost all JD wiring, the purple is the 12v to the solenoid when the key is in the start position. So, providing a 12v source to that wire is the first step in diagnosis. Does the starter crank when that is done?
