What a ride...

1998: First home and a 1981 Kubota 5100E. Such a pretty little machine, but a little machine she was.
2001: B7500HSD. Never thought I'd be happy with an HST but all it took was one short ride around the dealer lot to convince me otherwise.
2007: I can't believe it took 6 years to cave in and get a loader. It was such a large expense that would have put the upgrade from the B5100E on the backburner had we decided to do it back then.
2018: Time flies. A BX23s replaces the B7500 and it didn't take long to realize that I was missing the larger tractor's features: dual brakes, bucket curl speed, 3pt height.
2019: A B2601 with loader and backhoe displaces the BX. This one is very similar to my old B7500. We decided to change-up our firewood strategy and introduced IBC totes. It lifts them, but it's precarious. Wouldn't a cab tractor be nice, too...

And here we are - 27 years later and still in the same 1890s red brick farmhouse.

I (naturally) returned to my Kubota dealer (who has since moved from 10 minutes away to 45) for a quote on an LX2620 cab, loader, backhoe, mower, snowblower. Wow - not what I was expecting. And upon further investigation, it would only have marginally better lift capacity than the 2601.

Enter Kioti - local dealer, established 5 years ago, small town... He asked an existing client if he'd mind demoing me his CK2620 Cab. I thought that said something. Anyway, I asked for pricing configured identically to the LX. 22% less for what I'd guestimate to be 30% more tractor.

Cool summers and warm winters for me!

It's a great machine, you'll get a lot of use out of the 2620. The Kioti CK can lift a lot of weight for a machine of it's size, be sure to properly ballast your tractor.

Have fun, and be sure to post up some photos when your new helper arrives.

I was in the same boat a few years ago just around the time they were switching from 2610 to 2620.
I've got a BX that I think the world of...I'd literally take it along in an apocalypse. So I really wanted a Kubota. But the larger frame size and the larger tires made the Kioti pretty tempting. Toss in rear remotes, linked pedal, and a lower price...

Enjoy!!! They are great machines. Once you've blown snow in a warm cab, you can't go back!

Slight change of plans. We decided that with future landscaping projects a rear mower might not be suitable. I've had one before on the B7500 and I do like them more than a mid, but for not much more dough we could substitute with a zero-turn. We got a sweet deal on an in-stock ZXR54LT. So, 2 Kiotis on the way.

Very nice! How are you liking it so far? How does it handle the flail mower?

When the zero-turn arrives be sure to post your thoughts as well.

Loving the AC, that's for sure. The dealer upped the HP for me (slightly, via shim removal, not turning the set screw). I've been letting the field grow as I was anticipating getting my tractor much sooner. The flail doesn't do so well in neck-high growth (the picture was a mild section) and so it's a bit of an unfair test. Having said that, I would have thought it a tad underpowered without the tweak. ZT arrived this afternoon - thoughts to come.

Is the AC radiator in front of the debris screen like the CK3510? I have to blow mine out frequently. But it is totally worth it, love the AC.

Yes, forward. My understanding is that mechanically, they are the same machine - the 2620 being detuned. I've been wrong before, though, and I don't want to start a debate.
