Some years ago (it has been a long while) somebody replaced the easily-sheared low grade bolt I was using as a pin to hold the auger on the gearbox with something like steel and the gearbox became a boat anchor when it hit a rock. I don't recall all the issues and don't have it taken apart just now, but I recall semicircular bearings being out of their track.
Is there any way to replace the gear box without having to buy a whole new frame with it?
I have a 1972 Kuboda L175 (named Arnie) that purrs like a [90 year old] kitten (with emphysema and smoker's cough) but I can usually repair him when he breaks
