Yes 90% of charging could be done at home, but not all. Galveston is still 450 mile RT.
Unless you are travelling 450 mile RT in a day it wouldn't be a problem with a Tesla. 225 miles one way is achievable on one charge from your house but plenty of superchargers along the way with one in League City.
Even if you get a pucker factor traveling with an EV, use an ICE. Most households have at least 2 cars.
Why do I keep repeating myself?

From the article:

Your safe recharging station for the majority of your driving is at home so there is no waiting if done at night like I do. I can't repeat it enough because very few EV haters are listening.

EV's aren't going away based on 2023 sales figures of over 1 million.
Actually your not listening .......you have 21 people on ignore here and almost all of those EV realists have no problem with hybrids . .......oh and just because you can do it at home doesn't mean all of driving population can .....probably up to 50% can't .....but your focused on yourself. Now I am on his ignore so someone not on ignore quote this post so the ignoramus can read. ;)

I’m a bit surprised Car and Driver ranked the model Y , at the bottom of the barrel. They gave the top 3 SUV spots to the Korean models

Nobody has stepped up to the plate with a plug in hybrid pickup truck offering yet.

My guess is Ford is right behind, and GM is still way behind when they could already OWN this category by upscaling the Volt system . Instead they killed it.

Where do you get that "EV people" believe every vehicle should be an EV?
The infrastructure for EV's is already there. At your house.
Most every ev person I talk to thinks that everything should be ev.

Yes, the infrastructure is at MY house. The problem is most people are poor and do not have houses. Apartments and condo's and high rises. Do we just tell those people sorry, you are to poor to drive?

What the heck? So is this going to be like a diesel locomotive only powered by gasoline? What kind of mileage could that possibly get? I'm confused
