I'm wondering about that, too, but I can't come up with any other options. I don't have a compact tractor, so that's not an issue. I'll post pictures to this thread afterwards in case it might be useful to someone else that made the same mistake as I did.

Here are top and side views. You can see why I would need a longer pin. I think I'll let the welder decide which is easier: adding plate and pin to the bucket, or plate and new hole to the loader arm. This is one-time thing. Wouldn't have ordered this if I'd known it was for a compact...

This is what it looks like. I'm thinking about having the pin removed and putting a longer one, then getting a plate with a hole added above the lower hole. Not elegant, but it should work.

Just getting back to work and see that I've missed a lot. The first picture above is just about what my tractor looks like. The stump bucket that I want to attach fits the top tabs fine, but the bottom pins on the bucket are exactly 3" too high (or my holes are 3" too low), and the pins on...

Anybody have any ideas of how to attach a compact tractor attachment to a utility tractor loader? The pins on the attachment are 3" higher than the holes on the loader.
