I made this copied from an image on the interweb, thinking it would work great. Now I think the manufactured ones would work better. They are just so expensive now.
I bought an 8' from TSC for my Boomer 47. It is too big in my opinion. Rubber cutting edge seems to work good. I will cut it down to 7' sometime in the future. 6' would be to narrow for me. I use a back blade to clean up by my garage doors.
I have found mine land plane to be the best for driveway maintenance also. it does move material to the crown. It is subtle though. I did have to add a brace for the top link post though. there was far more side stress on it than i thought. Your build looks far more professional than mine. Good...
