Aftermarket supplier for custom materials bucket?

Can anyone recommend a supplier for a “semi-finished” 48” wide materials bucket for a compact tractor? The original bucket on my JD70 loader is beat up. I would like to have a bucket that I can attach to my pallet fork frame, so I’d be fabricating my own brackets that I’d weld to the new bucket...

Ariens/Gravely Zero Turn Front Caster Spindle Bushing Replacement

Has anyone here replaced the front spindle bushings Part No 8 in the attached parts diagram? Wondering how much trouble they’re going to give me coming out, and hoping I can dive the lower one out with a good sized drift. Looks like a poor design to me. No provisions for lubrication, and it...

    Well plumbing Device?

Our well system uses a submersible pump. I need to replace the pressure switch, because it is not turning on until system pressure is near zero. While the system is depressurized, I‘ll also replace the gauge, putting a valve between it and the system to facilitate future replacements. But I...

Yes. Bought both from Amazon. Could have been different manufacturers, don’t remember the particular sources.

    mini tillers opinions

Viking just thought I’d mention I bought the Honda about 5 years ago and consider it one of my best tool purchases. Only thing about it is that mine is on its third carburetor. Not a big deal, since a complete carb is only about $20. First one went after about 2 years when the primer bulb split...

Field & Brush Mowers , DR Power

tower59 asked: I bought a DR Field & Brush mower about 3 years ago and should have have bought one years earlier. It is definitely one of my most-useful pieces of equipment. The machine is a beast and is useful for mowing just about anywhere you can walk. I wish i had a picture of the steepest...

    Winter Projects 2016-2017

Got several areas to address on my recently acquired 1930 Chevrolet to prepare it for enjoyment in 2017. It had been sitting since about 2004, and had to clean out the fuel tank, repair fuel pump, and install some correct parts to get it running. Will likely install a 6 volt alternator to...

Deere 1050 Front Axle Seal Repair

Neighbor's 1050 was leaking at front spindle seal. On disassembly there appears to be wear on the seals mating surface. Wondering if this is a wear "sleeve" which can be replaced easily. It looks like one, but not shown on JD parts online and it did not move when tapped lightly.

    Good morning!!!!

Good morning all. Beautiful morning here, having second cup of coffee, could be drinking it out on the front porch but a little bright to read this screen out there. Had a very productive day yesterday- picked up a yard of topsoil for lawn patching, then two yards of hemlock mulch for DW's...

    Good morning!!!!

Good morning everyone. Eggs have been delivered, chickens fed, grandson on school bus, having second cup of coffee. Anyone else get caught up in yesterday's internet and cable tv outage from about 2 pm EDT until after I went to bed? Sorry to hear about you guys in the mid-Atlantic region having...

    Good morning!!!!

No, the ground outsode their muddy run is grassy, so no tracks. Two hens and the young rooster- he's about one year old now- showed up this morning. They're scared and timid, but no signs of physical injuries.

    Good morning!!!!

Forecast for today on the CT/MA border is for sunshine, 70, and Jerry mowing some lawns badly in need of it after a week of rain. Planted a couple of dogwoods yesterday afternoon with my wife and sister-in-law in winds gusting to over 40 mph. Today will be calmer. Unfortunately lost about a...
