Does anyone know if the machine has to be split to replace the propeller seal? Took to dealer and they are saying it has to be split. The way I look at the diagram on Messicks, it doesn稚 look like you have to.

I have a 2002 L48 TLB with 2000 hours. The seam in transmission where it is bolted together has started leaking a little. Anyone else had this issue?
