    Bill of sale from dealer

The bill of sale is all I ever get when I buy tractors. I use it to show value when updating insurance coverage. Other than that, it sits in a file folder in my office.

Any advice on 7x14 14K dump trailer for my new truck?

My haul vehicle is my 2024 GMC 3500HD 4WD with the 6.6 Duramax/ Allison 10 speed auto transmission. I started with a Big Tex 14GX 14' GN scissor lift with 2' sides, capacity of 7.2 yards. GVWR of 15,900#, 11,260# of cargo. I was hauling 6 yds of dry topsoil, probably slightly overloaded at...

    2005 NH TC29DA

The TC series has a problem with internal corrosion on the battery cables where they were pressed into the terminals. It allows volts to flow but not amps under load, hence everything lights up but cannot start. You cannot see it by visual inspection. You can bypass the cables with a set of...

Harbor Freight Tools that don't suck

I have the Dewalt folding stand. It works great. I have the Dewalt 20V compound miter saw and a General 7" compound miter saw that mount on it. The two mounting brackets bolt to the bottom of the saw and clamp on the rail. Very sturdy and folds up nice for storage.

I Went To Purchase A New Mini-Excavator And This Happened.....

Sounds like poor dealer communications and equipment prep. All of my new tractors had a few hours on them. My 2024 Yukon had almost 100 miles on it when I took delivery. It came out of the factory in Arlington. Instead of waiting a week or more to get vehicles delivered the dealership took 4...

Low brake oil level is what my WM75 manual shows for it.

    TC 25 New Hollanfd

The TC series has a problem with internal corrosion where the cable is pressed into the battery terminal. To check you can bypass the battery cables with a set of jumper cables. Clamp them at each end to where the cables attach. The corrosion allows voltage to pass but not amps. You get...

    Starlink

I understand your situation. I had CenturyLink DSL at 4 Mbps before Spectrum came in with fiber. OneRing over the air was expensive at $150/mo for not much better speed, 10 Mbps. When Spectrum came in, I jumped at it.

    Not to Brag, but...

I rest the front end of the cutter on 2' 6"X6" blocks, one on each side, when I store the cutter. I can pivot it around to get the arms attached by grabbing the tailwheel to move it around. It slides easily on the wood. Then I use a small ratchet strap to hold up the PTO shaft level with the...

    Starlink

Fiber all the way to the modems. I have 2 systems, one 400 Mbps for the house and one at 100 Mbps for the shop. Both have the slower upload speed.

I went with having multiple tractors so I don't have to change stuff out. The WM75 has a 6' cutter for pastures, the WM25 has a 4' cutter for under the trees and small paddocks, and the TC40DA has the arena drag. If I need to swap implements it is usually the TC40DA that gets the nod.

    Choosing my First Tractor

Frame size and weight makes a difference. Trying to stay away from emissions I bought a NH Workmaster 25S 25hp subcompact last year. It had a midmount mower and FEL. This year I added a Land Pride 4' cutter. It felt like the tail was wagging the dog, not enough weight on the front end...
